From the moment we checked into the hotel, to the day we checked out, everyone was super friendly & helpful. We absolutely loved our room - clean bathroom and bedroom, comfortable bed, working A/C, and despite the hotel being on Duval Street, we did not hear any of the street "party noises" from our room.
The property is adorable, lots of flora, fountains, and patio furniture everywhere, so there are plenty of areas for guests to sit and enjoy themselves. Really charming ambiance throughout the property. Continental breakfast was the most surprisingly enjoyable part of the stay - they set out a big morning spread of bagels, muffins, hard-boiled eggs and fruit, but the yogurt is where it's at! It is housemade, topped with gluten-free grranola, and it is so fresh and delicious! No kidding, I never eat yogurt, but after I had a taste of my husband's parfait, I went for some of my own.
The only issue with the hotel is one you'll encounter anywhere in Key West, and that is the sound of the roosters walking around in the morning. They're everywhere and they're LOUD, so light-sleeping guests should be warned to bring ear plugs and maybe even a noise machine when they decide to vacation in Key West.
Thanks for making our stay so delightful! We had a blast and we will surely choose The Duval House when we return to the area! Highly recommend this place to visitors.
