Awesome hotel:
Since I know Japanese it was easy to comunícate with the staff. The staff was cheerful, helpful, understanding, and accommodating. Their breakfast and other services were awesome. I would highly recommend.

Terrific place to stay. Clean, great service, breakfast and near the train and shopping. The rooms are tiny, but we managed. The beds were super comfy and it was very quiet. We will definitely stay there on our next trip to Japan.

Overall nice hotel
Hotel was in a nice quiet area that was very close to the train station about 5 min walk. The room was comfortable but the bathroom is very small. The bathroom was stocked with shampoo, conditioner and soap but the shower was short so if you are 6ft or taller, it may be hard to wash your head. The public bath was very nice and had lots of lotions and face cleaners. The breakfast buffet was good with a wide variety of Japanese meal items. One thing we wish was available was the bar which we were told was permanently closed with no idea when it will reopen.

great place but not centrally located
Comfortable bed, excellent breakfast, very close to minami-kashiwa station, nice price, nice public bath. This is not downtown Tokyo, it's about a 40 minute train ride to Ueno station, the closest station of major tourist interest.

Wonderful hotel
I was staying at the hotel for a conference in the area and could not have been happier with the level of service and comfort. We had our conference banquet at the hotel as well, and it was outstanding. I highly recommend this hotel to others!

This hotel features soft-tex gel beds that are really comfortable! That is definintely rare at this price point in Japan. Breakfast buffet was excellent with a good variety and some dishes changed every day. The hotel has kind of retro-modern decorating scheme that was comfortable enough and made me smile. The hotel is very close to minami kashiwa station which is a small station on the joban local line. There is not a whole lot in the immediate area but there is a grocery store and convenience store and a couple of restaurants. If you're sightseeing in Tokyo this is not as convenient as staying somewhere downtown but the price, great breakfast, and large (for japan) comfortable room and bed may make it worth the commute.

Everything was great. At the time we were there, they were doing some construction in the lobby - but that only lasted for a couple of days. The staff was extremely polite and professional.
