I made a reservation through expedia. I called the hostel to say O would be a late check-in. I was told no that would be impossible. It is ‘freirabend’ happy hour. So he would not let me in the hostel. Said No and hung up. I had to find another hotel. So i refuse or decline any charges. It was a pay the when you arrive. But i refuse sny fees. Due to poor service.

Seems to be a “long term” stay place. The shared bathroom, shower, and kitchen was a bit uncomfortable, but manageable. Clean enough, but you’re really getting what you pay for here.

They didn’t allow me to check in past 8.30 even though I booked this property on wot if at 9.30pm. Something needs to change, it needs to be taken off wot if, If its not actually available to check in at the time you book it later at night! The receptionist was rude and unhelpful

Great place to meet people and go out to explore Karlsruhe. Very clean with good quality service.

Very comfortable stay
I was very impressed, as I've stayed in many hostels, and this one had the most comfortable beds. I was not too happy, though, to be put in a mixed (men/women) room. One thing that could be improved is that there were only two chairs in a four-bed room. A room with sofas and chairs to relax in would be great. Would stay here again.
