We loved our short stay at Kanazawa. The host was gracious to let us leave our luggage. The place was very clean, although a little tight for 8 people, it worked out because we had a short stay. The house was very clean, amenities were just right. It was just a minute walk from the river, which made it extra special. We will definitely stay there if it’s just the 5/6 of us in the group.

The hotel was good. Located centrally. The room was convient and comfortable. The washing machine in the room was useful for doing some laundry after a few days of travel. Breakfast was modest and did not cater enough for the taste of westerners, although there were many western tourists in the hotel.

Great place to stay in kanazawa
Great stay. Free coffee 24hrs a day for guests washing machine in room with detergent included. Great wifi. Rooms average size by western standards, but as rooms normally smaller in japan this was comparatively large. Which was a nice surprise. Location is great and walkable to everything. Highly recommended!

Amazing hotel, in an excellent location, walkable to many local highlights. The residential rooms were fantastically equipped with a washing machine/dryer and a trouser press which was very convenient. Very good layout to the room. Staff were sadly not able to help us make dining reservations though, which was a bit of a disappointment (most other hotels in Japan have been more than happy to assist).

Very ordinary low frills hotel. Lots of tour buses stay here. Did not manage breakfast facility well. Had to wait 1/2 hour for paid breakfast. Will stay elsewhere next time

Wonderful place to stay
Beautiful view of mountains behind Kanazawa, on the other side of the building you can see the ocean in the distance. They had a washer/dryer combo in the room, plenty of space and the room was cozy.
