This is an incredibly serene and beautiful resort. Whether you come with your family or for a romantic get away it serves all types. Adult pools and family pools and an incredibly relaxing beach. The restaurants on the property were so delish and there’s other walkable options!

Our stay at Mauna lani was just perfect. Beautiful, clean, comfortable room, pool and shared areas. Staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. Valet is very efficient and go above and beyond to make your day trips better. Mel provided us with an umbrella and mat in one of our outings to a hike/beach without us even asking for it. The pool is great, the water was temperate, so not cold or warm just the right temperature for comfort but still refreshing. The beach at the hotel is extremely beautiful, it’s a little rocky so you probably want to wear water shoes when not swimming or snorkeling but right off the beach to the left there is the most amazing coral with a lot of colorful fish and even turtles! We went snorkeling a few times during our stay and we saw amazing fish and at least one turtle every time. The Island of Hawai’i calls for adventure with some difficult/long hikes and drives so coming back to the most beautiful, comfortable and accommodating hotel is what you need to make your vacation perfect. If we are lucky enough to come back to the Island of Hawai’i we will definitely choose Mauna lani again!

The hotel is 6 stories with great ocean views and lovely sitting areas. Loved walking down to the beach and having a chaise and towels available. The pools were also inviting.

Excellent dining options at the Auberge at the Canoe House and the Halani. Well situated to walk to the nearby protected cove for snorkeling passing ancient Hawaiian fish ponds along the way. Heading in the opposite direction is the beach trail to the Fairmont Orchid which also has a nice sheltered cove for snorkeling and an excellent restaurant (Browns) for a special dining experience. At the Auberge we got to see a turtle swimming in the water near the beach. We also loved the morning complementary yoga classes and it was a nice surprise that there was also an adult only pool. Mahalo to the staff who were everyone of them very friendly.

The most beautiful resort we have ever stayed in. Amenities on amenities and incredibly kind staff.They upgraded our room which was so generous and the view was to die for. So peaceful! We loved our time here as we were attending a wedding on the property. Do be warned the dining options are very expensive and there aren’t many affordable options near the property.
