We love our getaways to this hotel. Safe area with restaurants nearby, the hotel is nice and has Jacuzzi tubs in some of the rooms (which is what we always book). The breakfast is good and all the staff is helpful and kind.

I was given a handicap accessible room. That is good for people that need it. I am not disabled. Showering was a mess with water going all over the bathroom floor. I definitely didn't have a good stay at Hampton Inn.

Since I have a handicap (I use a mobility walker), a room's accessibility is very important to me. Of course, I reserved a room that said it was "handicap-accessible". In advance of staying at this property, I asked if the room had a grab-bar next to the toilet, and they assured me that it did. But when I arrived at the room, it had NO grab-bar next to the toilet. Furthermore, the toilet was not handicap-height. It was very low. The shower was also advertised as being handicap-accessible. Indeed, it did have a bath bench. But there was only one grab-bar in the shower/bath. And the floor of the bathtub was very slippery. Thus, I had a difficulty time maneuvering in the bathroom which was disappointing because I had made it a point to ask them several times before I stayed at the hotel.
