great house for a group
We were impressed by this amazing home with its ocean view. Our annual sisters weekend was enhanced by the comfort of the beds, the convenient kitchen and the hot tub on the deck. we felt surrounded by nature. All of us would highly recommend the house.

Lots of space to sleep our 7 members. The house has seen better days and is a bit run down but tidy and functional. Kitchen was well stocked. Tried a couple dvds but they didnt play... good thing they also have netflix.

50th Anniversary celebration
Really enjoyed this property. Lots of bedrooms and bathrooms, great flexibility with different bed sizes- singles queens and king - comfortable beds. Kitchen was well stocked. Great view!! Lots of space for badminton and ball games. The dock was a real bonus!! Hot tub needs a bit of a cleaning.

This house is in a great location and has an amazing view. The downside was the house is aged and maintenance needs to be done, windows that didn’t open bbq’s were filthy and propane on the deck one was out so we had to search for another tank. Deck chairs were full of cobwebs and we had to also search for cushions for the chairs. The weather was beautiful and we had a party of 10 women.. the least you could do is clean the hot tub and have the deck de-cobwebbed. Overall the stay was nice just disappointing they weren’t ready for us. The little things when you pay good money. The fridge also started off real slow, wasn’t even keeping our coffee cream cold. We emailed and texted and never did get a response. Loved the view the house was just meh.

Perfect Family Stay
Great property, perfect for a family getaway. Located in a quieter area of Sooke (East sooke) but plenty of space to relax, including a private hot tub and dock. Fabulous views and if your lucky, a resident bear! Approx 20 minutes from Sooke, so stock up on the way. Definitely check out the beach at Aylard Farm, absolutely stunning.

Island Getaway
You can’t beat the view and access to the water! Location is a bit removed from attractions in the area but the large property is very private and forested. Be aware and respectful of the forest residents - a black bear walked right up to us while we were in the hot tub at night! We had 9 family members staying here and the house provided more than enough space for everyone. House could use some repairs and updates but everything is functional and well stocked.

Beautiful property!
I stayed here with a group of girlfriends and we had the best time! The pictures don't do the house justice, it's super clean and warm and inviting. The property is huge, lots of room for us to play lawn games, and the dock was amazing to enjoy the water. Lots of extra blankets, towels for hot tub, a great deck, and nice and clean. Would definitely stay here again!!

Beautiful East Sooke
We loved staying here. It suited our family very well. It was clean enough, it’s hard with older houses to get things looking spotless. But it was good. The home has seen better days and could use some maintenance. But overall it was a great, comfortable place to be. Might be helpful to note the bedrooms upstairs are master with a queen bed, 2 twin bed bedroom, 1 queen bed bedroom. Main floor had the bedroom with a single bed. And the king size bedroom was in the basement. We loved the view and the private yard. It was wild and beautiful. We loved going down to the dock and enjoying the view from there as well. Bit of a hill climb though! The deck is great too. As well the out door fire pit on the grassy area was a nice addition. The hot tub has a great view. But it was not up to our standard of cleanliness. It could just have been that no one had used it for awhile and since it is the guests responsibility to add the chemicals etc perhaps no one was there to do that recently. The kitchen was huge and well stocked with pantry items. And the massive dinning table was perfect for family dinners. Overall, everyone had a fabulous time and we would consider booking this property again.

A Wonderful Getaway in a Beautiful Locale
Everything about this property came just as advertised and then some, as it exceeded our expectations. A nice large living space, ample area outside and a well maintained home. The house was well stocked with everything we needed, ample bedding, pillows etc. The BBQ was prepped and ready to go and the Hot Tub was a lovely addition as well. The house is outside the main city area of Sooke, so prepare for a 20+ minute drive to get to groceries and the like. The owners also provide ample info on where nearby things are located that could be of interest. Highly recommended!

Perfectly Peaceful, Spacious and Charming
This vacation property is even better than the photos show! The house is large, roomy, open, and beautiful. The view is gorgeous, and it can be enjoyed from most of the bedrooms and from the large deck that was a pleasure to use. The kitchen is huge and includes everything you could possibly need. The hot tub was wonderfully relaxing and had great views. The property was very, very quiet. The bedrooms were comfortable and beautiful. It was a great location for our two families with small children, because the house has three floors and the noise didn't carry from top to bottom. The foosball table was great fun for the kids and the adults! All in all, we loved staying here and would definitely do so again. Highly recommended.

Very nice an sizeable home that suited our young families needs
The house was great, very spacious, clean and decent beds. It could use some upkeep, several items didn’t work properly; bathroom door fell off its hinges, fireplace has a huge downdraft and sprayed smoke into the home making impossible to enjoy a indoor fire (should not be certified and taken off as an option), several lights were out and we had to replace lightbulbs ourselves and garage had a terrible smell (garbage building up and not taken care of). These things are minor though as the view is second to none, nice dock, fun property to explore.
