Eagle Cap Jumping Off Point
We stayed in the area to acclimate before a 5 night backpacking trip. The house has great space. We really enjoyed the back patio. We would gladly stay again.

Great spot for a wedding weekend
Nice location if you want to be close to attractions near Wallowa Lake - trailheads up the road, gondola, mini golf, state park, & more were all within walking distance. (Including the go-cart track - it's very close to this house so it's a little noisy until about 9 pm. Don't recall if the ad mentions this but it's worth noting). Very clean & cozy, enjoyed having a brew on the back deck & watching a neighborhood fox do its thing. Gas stove was a lifesaver because it got quite cold in the evenings we were there! Only thing missing is some board games or playing cards for the quiet Wallowa nights; we went down to Wallowa Lake Lodge for music but things wrap up pretty early & it would have been nice to have more entertainment options in the cabin aside from TV. Also, the shower is quite tiny - hard to reach shampoo & such but perhaps a caddy hung on the shower head would help. Overall we really enjoyed this cabin & would definitely recommend!

Clean. All necessities provided in kitchen, bathroom, laundry. Wall electric heaters worked fine. Used the laundry: great. Back deck for dinner twice; BBQ worked great.
