Great stay! I cannot say enough good things about this host!
The app was having glitches and Shelly went above and beyond to work with me to try and resolve the issues. We eventually had to speak over the phone in order to fix the app glitch issue, but we finally figured it out. She responded promptly to all my questions before my stay. Her communicated was top-notch even DURING my stay! We were in a thunderstorm warning/watch and winds and hail advisory during our stay. She reached out to me to check on me during the inclement weather and directed us where to go in the home in case of emergency which made us feel more safe. She had all of the little things people forget to pack or often don’t need until you are On your vacation. She had some snacks and cold water bottles in the fridge which made us feel more at home and welcomed. Pretty much any amenity you could think of she had from hair dryer to desk fans. She had laundry and dishwasher detergent. Sugar and spices for the kitchen. All the utensils and kitchen where you can think of. She had extra blankets and pillows. The bedding was clean and comfortable. The pillows and beds were comfortable. Blankets were soft and luxurious. Pack and play for a baby. The kids instantly flocked to the toys in the living room. The TV was nice quality with a big screen. The Location was quiet as advertised. Neighborhood felt safe. The house was clean, its smelled nice. I could go on and on about how incredible the host and home was. We will definitely be booking with this host next time. A++

Well appointed house in a quiet neighborhood.
Almost everything we needed to relax and prepare food over a long weekend was provided. We chose not to grill food on the back deck as that would have necessitated buying charcoal and trying to figure out how to clean up and dispose of the ashes. Easy to find and accessible to the sites we wanted to visit.

My son and I had a guys trip for a baseball tournament. Great location, great space, very clean, very comfy! I’m gonna keep ”BELIEVING” that we are the only one who has gotten chocolate chip cookies at check-in! Very tasty! Will be back next summer for sure!

We were in town for a family wedding. The checkin process went smoothly. Shelly was very attentive during our communication. The home was tastefully decorated and very clean and tidy. She made us cookies which we all enjoyed. The location is good with shopping and dining being within a few minutes drive. We enjoyed Grand Falls and the local parks in the area. Would stay here again if we were in the area.

The Grand House is grand!!
We very much enjoyed our brief but comfortable time at The Grand House!! It felt just like home with cleanliness, location being central, and all modern features to use and enjoy!! Darling house for a Joplin area visit
We came to town for a class reunion, unfortunately we are at an age where our parents homes are no longer available. What a perfect find with 3 bedrooms, 2 full baths, large living area and every detail thought through for our comfort and needs. The host was always prompt and courteous, eager to answer any questions. We'll definitely stay here again and recommend to others.

Grand street house in Joplin, MO
The house was exactly house it was listed. Very homey and cozy feeling. The 6 of us were able to spread out and have our own space. I couldn't have been happier with the decision to use VRBO. If we are ever in need of a place to stay in Joplin, I will definitely look Shelly up.

We had a competition in the area for our teenagers. We were happy to see that the property was just as pictured. It was clean, great space for the size and our hosts made sure we had all the comforts of home. We had a family of 4 and a family of 3 which included 3 teenagers. We each had our own space and never felt cramped. The house was in a quiet neighborhood close to everything. We would stay here again no question.

Perfect house for an awesome weekend getaway!
This property had everything it promised in the listing! It was very clean, organized, and prepared for guests! It even had cookies in the counter the day of our check-in. The beds were comfy, the rooms were more than adequate for our stay. The kitchen was overly filled with utensils and proper cookware. The location was perfect for what we needed as well! It was one of the best VRBOs that I’ve ever stayed in! The host even notified me of a possible complication a week before our arrival and offered to cancel our reservation. But we did not cancel and the complication was even repaired before we arrived. We will be staying here again when we are in the Joplin area to visit family!
