About this property

The Baugh Farm-Country Living near ATX

About this space
Our family is moving into our 3rd generation of enjoying this 300-plus acre farm. It offers lots of space and a century old farmhouse for peaceful country nights. Bring your walking shoes to explore as numerous trails are available. We also have three well-stocked tanks for fishing. Separate from the house rental, we also have Syler Hall, a barn that's perfect for events, such as weddings and family celebrations. Send us a note and we'll get you a quote for the memory of a lifetime!
The space
The farmhouse is a warm, inviting space with lots of room to enjoy your family. Curl up with a book in the big living room or have an iced tea on the deck.
The farm also features Syler Hall, a converted open hay barn that now serves as a special events venue. A commercial kitchen with a nearby covered dining area gets the guests fed. The covered pavilion on the back has plenty of room for the band and dozens of dancers. Call or message us for pricing on weddings and special events.
Guest access
All of the land is available to guests to walk about and enjoy. Bring your fishing pole and try your luck at one of our bass and catfish-filled ponds. Syler Hall, the barn and event venue is not a part of the house rental. However, we'd love to hear your ideas for an event! Give us the details and we'll happily get you a bid together.

A Great Family Retreat
This is the house that you always wish your family had - the cabin or farm house that everyone went to as a group gathering or as a small retreat. The gathering rooms are huge, the beds are soft, and there is just a great feeling of peace. This trip for us was a one-off, we went for a wedding in the area, but if we ever have need to stay in the Austin area and can stay an hour away, this is where we will go back to. Loved it.
