A Letdown
Although the cabin was neat and Clean, we were disappointed in several things. The main thing is that we thought we would have a private hot tub. Although there may have been one on the property somewhere, there was no information in the cabin, letting us know where it was located. There was no information in the cabin at all. We are accustomed to having a notebook that tells us places to eat and visit. We also had no instructions for check out. We had what we needed in the kitchen, but if we had had children with us, it would have been poorly stocked. There was no iron or blow dryer in the cabin. When someone came to replace the battery in the smoke alarm that had been chirping for four hours, she went to the main house and got the iron from there and suggested I knock on their door and ask to borrow their blow dryer when I needed it. This is after we were told that they would bring us one, which they did not.
