The property was a bit dated, but was clean and the staff was friendly. The property showed as permanently closed on a travel website, but we called to confirm the hotel was open. The desk clerk said that he had gotten a number of calls that day asking if the hotel was open.

The Good, the Bad & the Ugly: The room was clean, beds were comfortable. Refrigerator in room came in handy. Was within walking distance of at least one decent restaurant, and only about 2 blocks or so from the Lucy Desi Museum and gift shop. We stayed for 3 nights. There was no housekeeping of the room. No made beds or fresh towels. It wasnt that big of a deal, but upon checkout, we saw a small sign on the wall behind the desk saying housekeeping needs to be requested. Requested?? We never stayed at a place where it had to be requested. I was traveling with my 86yr old mother and the toilet was so low, unless you are good at squatting or a toddler, youd have trouble using the bathroom. The toilet seat didnt even come up to our knees (nearly mid-calf). There was a bathroom in the lobby with a higher toilet and at 2:00am my mother had to take the elevator to the lobby to use the facilities. We ended up going to a medical supply store to purchase an elevated toilet seat. The free breakfasts were actually pretty good! There was an assorment of juices, assorted muffins, donuts, pastries, scrambled eggs with either sausage patties, bacon, or sausage links (different each day). You could also make yourself a waffle. They also had biscuits and gravy or french toast and potatoe. Assorted cereals and assorted oatmeal. Over all, the breakfasts were very good. The staff was very nice. Everyone we came into contact with was so friendly and helpful. Over all it was a decent hotel.

Great location but needs refreshing and restoring. High humidity from pool area and rooms above musty. Showers need replacing as crevices moldy Vey quiet area on a Saturday night. Had to drive outside area for meal

Service at the desk could be compared to ordering at McDonalds. Step up to the counter, pay and leave without eye to eye contact or conversation. Lobby was dingy, low light and not welcoming at all. The room was great. Clean, and everything worked. First impression of lobby and attitude, not bad, just not welcoming. Like they would rather be somewhere else. Just my experience.

When u made my reservation over the phone to avoid confusion i stated that we would be driving 10 hrs & would be in well adter 1am. We showed up at 4am. We were turned away told an audit was completed &we were no shows. I had No where to go & wasnt from the area. He threatened to call the police if we slept in the parking lot. This hotel took over 130 from me & did not uphold their end. Not only that but the human at the desk was rude. Lets add that when i called to speak to management the next day, i was told they wouldn't be in until after 4. Really now!?! I am so sorry to have encountered such rude inconsiderate humans while on vacation.
