Situated in a great location, near the mosque and not too far from public transportation modes. Room was cleaned daily! And breakfast was amazing. My only complaint is the rooftop was closed for winter unbeknownst to me. The rooftop is the main reason I booked this hotel but didn’t notice any notification that it was closed. Nonetheless the safe was amazing and helpful

The photos in the online advertisement are misleading. It's not worth the price charged, as is 100% of the activities and products in Istanbul, which is a huge tourist trap in every way. The hotel needs painting and maintenance. The room smells of mildew, the amenities are terrible, the towels feel like sandpaper, and the bed is a standard double size, not a large as advertised. There's no temperature control in the room, and the heating is central, so at night you alternate between a sauna where you melt from sweating or freezing if you open the window to have a comfortable temperature. The pillows are also terrible. The breakfast is weak, and every day the food, like eggs, bread, and sausage, was cold. The only good highlight is the lady who makes the stuffed pita bread on the spot, hot and delicious. The staff are friendly and welcoming.

Staff were the highlight, so SO welcoming and and helpful. Always a greeting. My husband and I tried their recommended restaurants .... brilliant. The breakfast room/common area/bar was perfect, not only for breakfast but also for a drop-in coffee after a hectic morning. Rooftop bar offered the Bosphorus to view in all its glory. The gym was compact but excellent, loved the water bottle and fresh towel that sat on each piece of fitness equipment. Our room was comfortable and quiet and clean, even though it had not been renovated. Brilliant location in the historic centre. Walking distance to the hippodrome, Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque, and tram. Absolutely recommend.

The Manager very kindly upgraded us to a room with a balcony, on our second night as we were celebrating our Silver Wedding Anniversary! The staff (and locals) were very friendly indeed and we felt very much “at home”. Thank you for making our stay so memorable - especially the free cocktails on the Roof Top Bar!

Overall, the property and staff aren't bad. Not outstanding, but still fine in all ways considered. The hotel was clean. Room was a tad small. Bathtub/showers were a little difficult to step down from due to their height so if you slip you're in big trouble. No handle bars anywhere. The biggest issue in regards to the facility is safety in my opinion. Only half the rooms are on the side "with an elevator", the rest go up a stair case with very narrow steps. Therefore, if you have mobility issues, be prepared to struggle a bit. The hotel restaurant has good food and a nice size menu but is extremely pricey when compared to many nearby restaurants. The rooftop ambiance is nice, just be prepared to pay for it. Breakfast is great and offers good initial variety. That being said, it does not change from day to day. Therefore, be prepared to eat the same thing over and over. The gozleme made by a wonderful lady in the back room are delicious. Perhaps a little bit different ingredients beyond meat, cheese and spinach but overall a great addition. Staff at the front desk are great, they'll arrange tours and other outings for you, just be prepared to pay a bit of an inflated price. Location is great, it's a steep hike to the central squares but overall a short distance. If I return to Istanbul, I would likely select a different hotel but would not discourage anyone from booking this one.

Bathtub leaked and door track was very dirty, but sundeck was great rm 801. No confirmation of airport transfer which created an issue when we did arrive. Otherwise the staff was very helpful! Eggs were always cold at breakfast but selection was good. The fresh made gozleme was excellent.
