Pictures look better than the actual place. Location was great! But the noise situation was out of hand. Too loud in the morning -we were right next to reception and the music playing in the morning at 7:30 am was unnecessary. I’m
Not sure what happened, but we all left with bug bites- either Bed bugs or spiders…

The worse family vacation I had. This Cabañas (if you can call them that) don’t have walls, floor and their palm tree ceilings have whole where the rain goes trough. Add all this to a horrible costumer service. I saw a snake near the table when we were eating and the mosquitos are a nightmare. No air conditioning and when I beg them to please refund me the two last nights of the week I booked after suffering for 5 days, they told me that wasn’t possible. Please never go there.
Little gem in the jungle close to the beach/center
Perfect place! We had a huge house for our two kids and us, hamacs everywhere, all facilities, super eco friendly!
Raccoons, iguanas and cats!
Feels like sleeping in the wild.
Breakfast could start a bit earlier but it’s delicious.
Staff is super friendly and the decoration is amazing !!
Without a doubt, a great decision! Walking distance to everything! Super unique, GREAT staff! This place goes perfect with the Holbox theme! I love every minute of it!
It was a very clean place and quite, there is no A/C it is not a luxury stay but everything is very relaxing staff goes above and beyond to help you. It was a hot night but still had a great time.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
The hostal is ok for what you paid for. We arrived a day after it rained, so it was a little messy around. But overall we enjoy our stay.
Avoid the rooms by the street. Very busy loud street with all those beach buggy/quad bikes/motor bikes that they use allover the island for transport. Loud traffic noise day & night :-(

Disliked: Staff & service
reasonable value for money
Nice enough cheap little place. Bed was a bit weird and not super comfortable. Did however expect this to a degree for the price. Place well local as away from the noise of the town
Place was beautiful, peaceful and very clean
Manager always on top of everything.
Daughter and I are very satisfied!

I couldn’t help feeling scammed when the guy tried to charge me $150 pesos for a towel?! Tried to ask some other staff for some info and they were closed in the hut smoking weed... tent itself was simple with a fan, it was pleasant and when I opened the shades there was an nice cross breeze. Not at all worth what I paid though.
We had an amazing experience!!! We have been traveling to different cities within Mexico especially Quintana Roo and Yucatan. Tony and Jairo at the reception do a great job by going into over the main places to visit within the island and the tours that are available. The main chef Hugo, the server Diana and the cook Abraham make sure you get a great breakfast and they are open to making accommodations. The waiting can be a bit longer but that’s because they make each breakfast from scratch. They even baked their own bread on site and Annie bakes a variety of pastries with seasonal fruits. We were so happy with the service and we rarely go back to the same place twice and this will definitely will be an exception. Thank you so much to all the crew of Ida y Vuelta.
