The property is worn and tired. The in-room baths have mold in the tubs and showers. The bedspreads are thin and old. Likely due to its proximity to the harbor, the rooms are damp and a bit musty. People using the thermal bath did not observe the mandatory cap requirement nor was the quiet/relaxing atmosphere enforced. The staff was pleasant enough but can't overcome the lack of upkeep on the property. I stayed here 15 years ago and found it lovely. This stay.will be my last.

The hotel is in an excellent location within walking distance to ferries ,shopping ,restaurants, and beach. The views are beautiful from the hotel. The breakfasts are delicious and plentiful!The thermal outdoor pool and the indoor hot pool and jets are wonderful! The staff are all so friendly and helpful. We visit Ischia every year and always stay at the Aragona.

Aragona Palace in Ischia was honestly such a vibe. The location could not be better, right on the harbor, so every morning I woke up to ferries, pastel buildings, and the ocean just doing its thing. My room had a balcony, which meant I got to people watch like a pro while sipping wine and pretending I was an Italian movie star (reality: sweatpants, leftover pizza). The real highlight though? The thermal pools. They have one indoors that is all calm, quiet, and spa like, perfect for soaking away the I walked too much today pain. Then there is the outdoor pool, which is basically heaven: warm mineral water, sunshine, and that smug feeling of yes, I am thriving. Breakfast was classic Italian, pastries, fruit, coffee that could power a small car. The staff were super friendly, always ready to help, and honestly made the whole stay even better. Overall, it was the perfect mix of relaxation, fun, and why don’t I live here forever?

We are just back from visit to Ischia and our stay at the Aragona Palace Hotel was the perfect base for our first, but not last, visit to this beautiful island. The hotel is ideally situated within easy walking distance of local amenities, such as restaurants, shopping and the beach, and transport links to get around the island. The hotel itself has a full range of facilities, with great food and ever helpful and friendly staff. Our room was clean and comfortable with a a view over the harbour.

The location was very close to the ferries and close to many shops. We loved the outdoor thermal pool and patios! It was were very nice and relaxing. Staff was professional and helpful. Martina at front desk was always smiling and happy to see us:) The buffet breakfast lacked a variety of fresh fruit, otherwise it had a good selection of croissants, cakes and breads! I would return:)

The staff was very accommodating. Due to a train strike they helped us book bus tickets to get back to Rome. We had a very early departure from the hotel and was provided a take away breakfast plus lunch bag. Which was greatly appreciated. Thank you Aragona front desk and server staff.

The location of this hotel is perfect- it's right next to the port, to dining, and shopping. The staff is fantastic and friendly. The hotel itself is in good conditions but could use some upgrades/repairs but overall it was a great experience and we would stay here again.

Hotel was in a great location. Many restaurants within walking distance at the port. Also walking distance from the ferry. Staff were so nice too. Friendly and felt like family. They even came over to say goodbye to us. We will definitely be coming back to ischia.

Good, could be better

Staff were great, rooms a good size and locaytion excellent. Beds are hard, but can probably be fixed with pillow toppers, cushions are thin, extras were required. Painting and simple maintenance are required, could be a great hotel with attention to detail.

I booked this hotel a few minutes before I checked in to the hotel due to complications at another hotel.. When I got to the hotel I was so tired and just wanted to rest. The staff at the Front desk was wonderful and welcoming.They checked me in very fast and even upgraded my room and then helped me with my luggage..They were so kind and I was overwhelmed by their thoughtfulness..I slept wonderfully in the clean, comfortable bed, and even was able to enjoy the view of the harbor from my balcony as the room had a harbor view..The next morning I had a very nice breakfast and again the front desk was so helpful and kind..They printed my ferry ticket for me and put it in a plastic cover. And when I checked out they held my luggage for me until the afternoon when my ferry left. I could have used the pool for the day if weather permitted but it was a little rainy that day..I did have drinks at their bar over looking the Marina and again the staff there was so kind and understood my terrible Italian . When I return I will stay there again and they do have another hotel down the street with thermal waters and beautiful pools..If the staff at that hotel is anything like the staff here I would like to stay there as well..I felt safe and comfortable and appreciated for my business..I have to say that staying in this place that just happened by chance was absolutely my best stay in all of Italy.. Everyone was professional and more importantly kind and patient..Thank You for a great rest.

The hotel is in a very convenient location walking distance from the port, to the beach, dining, shopping, some attractions and close to central bus station. The breakfast buffet has limited options. Overall it was a good experience and the staff were friendly, courteous and able to provide assistance.

Very lovely

This hotel had everything anyone could ever ask for. We requested a room on the harbor with a balcony and it was fabulous watching all the boats come in and out every day. I also spent some time at the spa and I received the best services there. The staff at the front desk was always ready to help with anything you needed. It was a fabulous stay and we will be back again. The only thing I would suggest is that there should be more breakfast choices.
