Our room was comfortable and clean. The staff were very friendly and the hotel was in a quiet location. Only disappointment was not being aware that they did not do dinners on Mondays to Wednesdays, which coincided with our stay.
Very cute older property. Most of the staff was super helpful and the beer brewed on sight was great! The hallways had a musty odor. Maybe I'm being picky but one of the staff members was not very helpful, the hallways had a musty odor and check in time was pretty late at 4:00. so I'm rating this 4 stars instead of 5. The breakfast and beer was definatly 5 star.
Warm, caring, friendly staff from the receptionist to the breakfast staff to the bar staff. Simply outstanding. Clean rooms with ample space and great showers. This hotel has a great location in-between Loch Ness boat tours and the Urquhart Castle, with an old cemetery and school house a short walk away. The bar at night has a few local patrons - always a sign of a good place.
I do not understand why it is only 2 Stars; this hotel and staff are a lot better than many of the 3-Star hotels I have stayed at. Come on, Hotels.com; upgrade their rating - it is well deserved.
Would return here again on our next trip!
Great overnight stay at the benleva room was good with a comfy bed and decent shower restaurant was closed to ate at the recommended lochness in which was excellent breakfast was a bit chaotic as a large party were in but we were kept informed and served with a smile
Great to see the more than 400y old tree – also used as hanging tree in ancient times. Therefor the nice local craft beer in the pub is called hanging tree ale.
Check in was seamless. The room was modern and clean. All the staff were very friendly and because I was leaving early, a take away breakfast was hanging on my room door handle as I left. The restaurant was closed the night I stayed but with a recommendation from staff and a short walk I went and had my dinner. The bar is well stocked and serves a local beer brewed on site.
