Bathroom is updated and wuite nice. Place is very clean. Location is right ar the gate of Cape Breton park. Only downside is the rooms is a bit small. It was difficult to move around.

The staffs are nice. The place is clean and comfortable. It offers free laundry there. At night my and I drank beer and chatted at the patio that is outside of our rooms. There is a seafood restaurant just across the street.

The cabin (#2) we stayed in was so clean and comfortable. Unfortunately it was raining so didn’t get to tour around much or make use of the cute deck. Check in and out was super quick and easy. The lady was very helpful on where to get something good to eat for supper. Would definitely recommend Skyline Cabins. I guess if I was to make a suggestion would be for some cutlery and plates. They provide a toaster, microwave, kettle, and coffee pot. We had our own bread and condiments but needed a knife to butter our toast. Otherwise was a perfect spot to hang out for an evening.

Along the Cabot Trail, these cabin units are well maintained and clean. There's a decent restaurant across the street and a gas station one minute down the road, two things which are not that common on the Trail.

Small little cabin with a front porch situated back from the main road. It was quiet and provided and nice stop on our trip. They do not provide a complimentary breakfast but there is a nice restaurant across the street which can be walked to.

Our favorite Cabot Trail overnight
Quaint little cabin on the outside—completely updated on the inside! We were welcomed by friendly staff who gave us excellent local restaurant advice. Our cabin was all new inside—TV, refrigerator, microwave, AC—all the comforts of home. Our Skyline Cabin was our favorite stop on the Cabot Trail in Cape Breton. We hope to visit again someday!
