So much to say. First, was denied check in until I paid in full with my own credit card even though I had prepaid through this app. Refused to look at my receipt or talk to a hotels.com agent. After three hours and a call to the franchise owner she checked us in, saying she hadn’t seen in the screen that the hotels.com credit card was saved as the payment method. I saw that this had happened to others in previous reviews, so it is not ignorance on their part, it is a scam to get double payment from third party bookings. There was also a baby cockroach on the credit card reader at the front desk. The room was filthy Waugh debris in the tub, rust, water damage, unidentifiable stains and damage in the bathroom as well as blood and coffee stains on the bedding. The breakfast was all packaged convenience store pastries. Then the safety lock on the room door popped itself into lock mode when I left to get breakfast and I was locked out of my room. Just an awful, awful experience.
