We arrived almost 45 minutes after check-in began but found our room wouldnt be available for another 30 minutes. This was a bit inconvenient but the gentlemen who was working explained the reason for the delay, was sincerely apologetic, and got us into a different room as soon as he could. He handled it as best he could and I appreciated the effort.
The room was clean and modern. The staff was friendly and professional. The breakfast was the average continental breakfast you'd expect - waffle station, scrambled eggs, biscuits & gravy, with oatmeal, yogurt, etc. I'd complain if I got this from a restaurant, but was fine from a hotel without a proper kitchen.
The area around the hotel is pretty sparse for restaurants and the cluster of on & off ramps makes getting around a bit of a pain. However, a few miles and you can find standard chain restaurants, fast food, and plenty of local restaurants.
I'd definitely return the next time I need a place to stay in Indianapolis.
