The room was dirty. There was trash on the floor, hair in the bathtub and fridge. Dust and dirt on the lamp and AC. The rug by the front door wasn’t vacuumed and the laminate floor was duct taped together. It was gross. I actually left a day early.

I have to say the room was clean, and had been updated. But during my stay someone attempted to steal my car, and broke the passenger side window with a Lithium battery from a power tool. When the Plainfield police officer arrived and we were talking, he told me they have had a lot of calls to the motel and others in that area, and it was not a good place to stay. Lots of thefts in the area of the motel. I will find another place to stay when I visit Indianapolis in the future.

Went to the Nationals!
Hotel is about 20 minutes from the track and in a nice quiet area. It's comfortable, nice, and safe. This is the 4th time staying here. Haven't had any problems and the staff is very friendly. Will stay again.

Overall not the worse place I’ve been to, but wouldn’t come back. Staff was great at first and helpful. We entered our room to find the shower curtain rod barely hanging on, paint chips, poor lighting, the bathtub was covered in dry paint. Hair on the lamp shades on the bathroom walls. Went to check out and the staff was non existent. Called the number and woke someone up and told them I needed to check out. Nobody came, called again and just left my card in the mailbox. It was clear the staff was asleep. convenient places nearby, just not the best place to stay.

The front desk staff were very accomodating and helpful. My room was cleaned and ready early. The housekeeping staff brought new towels everyday but didn't do anything else. The medium-sized fridge and microwave were stacked in the closet. Bring your own hangers, coffee pot, and hair dryer. The owners were obviously trying to update things in the rooms. There were people who were weekly or monthly renters. If you wanted ice or to do laundry, those are in the back building.

It was OK for sleeping, but it’s honestly one of the worst Motels I’ve ever been in. I gave it points for being quiet, and a very simple check in, but if you don’t read all 50 signs in the office ahead of time, you’re going to be thrown off by something. It wasn’t clean, when we walked in the room smelled like old cigars AND the AC was off so that was gross. The bathroom door was clearly not clean. Many of their towels are permanently stained (in the human brain, stained = dirty, I don’t make the rules). The microwave was sitting inside of the fridge that was next to the table INSIDE of the closet (so if you needed to actually hang a bunch of things, you couldn’t). The property is definitely one of those you want to have some form of protection on you, because you might be approached by a traveling “lot lizard” or suspicious person. The bed and bedsheets have stains on them (dried blood isn’t much of a pathogen but it is definitely gross). BUT if you try to raise concerns to the office, they’ll just threaten to cancel your reservation instead of saying “I’m sorry, I can try to fix that”. If you try to park where you have eyesight of your vehicle, you’ll get scolded for not parking where you’re “supposed” to be (there’s no signage for that, I checked). I give them a B for consistency, because “no vaping” but also “steam baths will set off the smoke alarm”, ON WHAT PLANET?! The outlets are a fire hazard itself! Also, the crotchety old guy shouldn’t be working with the public.

Maid only came once on second day of 5 day stay. I ran out of towels on last day. Garbage was not emptied during entire stay. Toilet paper rack spindle was missing. The place was run down and not not kept up with even minimal repars.

I didn’t like anything about this place it was dirty, unsafe, had a terrible smell (a mixture of cigarettes with alcohol mixed with pinesole). The property also called us around 7pm to let us know that we had to make the reservation payment over the phone in order to keep the reservation because we weren’t able to make the payment after midnight. So we would loose the reservation we made the payment but we stay for only 20 minutes after arrival around midnight. We called ahead to let them know we would be arriving late and it was okayed by the property. We couldn’t handle the smell that was in that room, and how everything was dirty or broken. This place needs to be either fixed or get shut down. There was no safety lock, there was hair and dust everywhere, and a vibe like someone was watching us. When we asked for a refund the front desk guy refused saying we had to speak with Expedia, I tried to explain that since we paid him directly that he had to do it whether it was partial or full. He then started to be become loud and rude with me, since it was late at night and we are two girls we took ourselves out of the situation and get somewhere save. For anyone staying there, please don’t for your own safety.
