The Space:
THE WILDLAND LOFT is designed as a peaceful and serene mountain getaway. Not suitable for children - there is open access to a steep stairway. Pet friendly with a $100 pet fee.

Mindfully designed to help you disconnect to reconnect, the WILDLAND LOFT does NOT have a television. Also, it should be noted that the LOFT sits on the same property as 2 other wellness cabins, with a beautiful communal outdoor space in addition to your private outdoor space. We invite you to meet and commune with fellow travelers in the "Gathering Grove" of Cedars and Manzanita Trees - complete with cozy Adirondack chairs, a hammock, and tree-shaded benches throughout... but if solo quiet time is more your thing, you can chill in your private area.

Your exclusive outdoor space features cozy patio furniture, a side table for eating alfresco, outdoor solar lights, and beautiful nature views to enjoy.

Round out your trip with a beautiful brunch at Alpaca Brunch Cafe, or a morning coffee at Alpaca Coffee and Tea - located just a 10-minute walk down the road. Looking for a gorgeous vista? We can give you directions to a beautiful lookout just a short walk away. The town center of Idyllwild is a quick 3-minute drive from the property, or a beautiful 30-minute walk - along with hiking trails accessible within a 5-10 minute drive in all directions.

TO GET PETS APPROVED:

2. Up to 2 dogs allowed - NO EXCEPTIONS
3. NO PUPPIES - no exceptions
4. FRIENDLY, WELL-SOCIALIZED dogs only. We must meet your dog when you arrive to ensure a friendly demeanor before getting access to the space.
5. Dog must be ON LEASH WHEN OUTSIDE, AT ALL TIMES. Breaking this rule will result in the forfeiture of your security deposit.
6. Pets CANNOT be left unattended - EVER. Pet must GO WITH YOU everywhere you go, including meals out (this is a pet-friendly town).
7. Make sure your pet is included in your reservation under number/type of guests.
8. $100 non-refundable pet fee will be added to your folio.

Guest Access:
Guests of The Wildland Loft are welcome to enjoy all outside areas in FRONT of the loft space, including the communal "Gathering Grove" space. You will also have access to a private parking space, and a private outdoor seating area.

Parking is limited to 1 car. Photos indicating your parking space will be sent to you prior to check-in. Please ONLY PARK in the space ASSIGNED to The LOFT to avoid inconveniencing other guests in the surrounding cabins on the property.

The Neighborhood:
The Wildland Loft is walking distance from Mile High - one of the town's most popular restaurants for Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner! Specializing in classic American breakfasts, and both American & Pan-Asian lunches/dinners - Mile High is a fantastic spot not to be missed! Live music most weekends, call or visit their IG for a schedule of music. ALSO - Alpaca Coffee and Tea is right next door to Mile High - such a treat to just walk 10 minutes to great coffee!

Getting Around:
You will need a car in Idyllwild - there is no Uber or Lyft here. We are 1.5 hours from Palm Springs Airport.

4WD or AWD highly recommended during winter months, but FWD vehicles can be accommodated. Chains required for ALL vehicles during winter months in case of snow storms.

Security Cameras have been installed (outside only) for your safety and security.

Interaction with Guests:
We give our guests space but are available when needed.
We live down the street - so we are always available for anything you may need. Our cleaning team is often on the property to use the laundry building, and our maintenance team is there weekly to keep things looking fresh. A full-time tenant currently lives on the property and acts as our eyes and ears, making sure the Wildland Wellness Lodge fulfills our promise to provide a peaceful and restorative atmosphere for our guests.

I loved my stay at the Wildland Loft. Communication and everything was perfect. I could really relax during my three night stay. The loft is beautifully furnished and radiates calmness. It’s a ten minute walk to the coffee shop and a nice breakfast & lunch restaurant. You can also walk to the little town but I chose to drive there. Lots of pretty art and candles from local artists. Easy parking everywhere. Will definitely be back.

Woodland Studio Apartment
The Woodland studio apartment was everything it promised to be per the owner's videos provided in their email prior to our stay: quaint, minimalist, and clean. We enjoyed our one night stay. We will definitely come back.
