Quietly located in the most idyllic location this rustic, chalet-style villa is surrounded by fertile fields, rolling hills, forests and vineyards - the perfect place to unwind away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Built in 2011, the property offers an outdoor hot tub, Turkish and Finnish saunas, a relaxation area and plenty of hiking trails. It’s even possible to organise horseback riding through the hosts for an extra fee.

The accommodation is arranged over two floors with an open-plan living space furnished with a comfortable L-shaped sofa, a flat-screen HD digital TV with a DVD player, a dining table and a kitchen a modern kitchen fitted with; an induction hob, an oven, a coffee machine, a microwave, a dishwasher and a fridge freezer. There are also lots of board games and books available for guests to enjoy and in case of bad weather a traditional wood stove.

The property also includes a separate raised terrace with sun loungers, a wooden table and benches, a garden fireplace and a covered summer kitchen with a Weber grill Master-Touch ™. Beneath the terrace, guests will find the property\'s ‘Party Basement’ with a specially equipped kitchen.

Location

The property is located in the eastern part of Slovenia an area known for its rural charm, with small villages, farms and vineyards dotting the landscape amongst rolling hills, forests and rivers - providing opportunities for outdoor activities including hiking and cycling,

There are a number of spa towns nearby including Rimske Toplice (a 15-minute drive), which has been utilised since Roman times and Terme Laško (a 20-minute drive). Here visitors can enjoy thermal pools, saunas, massages and other spa treatments. The thermal water is rich in minerals and is believed to have various health benefits.

Laško is also known for its beer production and the home of Pivovarna Laško one of the largest and oldest breweries in Slovenia. Guests can also visit the 12th century Tabor Castle a medieval fortress perched on a hill overlooking the town.

Both popular hiking areas of Stražnik and Plezališče Povčeno are a 20-minute drive away. In the Winter months, visitors can enjoy the Golte Ski Resort which is approximately a one-hour and 30-minute drive away and offers opportunities for alpine skiing, snowshoeing, cross-country skiing and sledging
