Fantastic weekend
The place was very clean very spacious had a wonderful time. It’s above the monkey bar, and the staff at the monkey bar was fantastic. Every place we went was walking distance and enjoyed the weekend. It was fantastic. I will rent again.

We came to Kemah in hopes of a nice getaway and some fun for the kids. Everything was great until bedtime, when we realized we were going to have a very loud and restless night. I realize we are responsible for researching our booking and making sure we cover all the bases. I felt that the description of this property was not accurate and the fact that we were on a street with 9 bars was hidden very well. The pictures of the outside were taken at angles that also hid this fact as well. The noise was so bad that we decided to end our trip early. My 8 year old son was terrified that someone was trying to get into his room and had bad dreams when he was sleeping. I contacted Bryan, the property manager and he was not helpful or understanding at all and just blamed us for not checking the property out more beforehand. I asked if we could be partially refunded for the night we did not stay so that we could book another night somewhere else. and he said he would “think about it” but I don’t think he intended to do anything about it. We ended up coming on home early. I think the details of this property need to be updated to include being close to “nightlife” and I don’t think children should be allowed to stay on a property like that. I think they should consider changing it to a property that doesn’t allow children. We have always had great experiences with vrbo until this time. We were very disappointed in this stay.
