Riverfront, Hot Tub & Sauna, 10 Minute Walk to Town on the AT

Sanders Place is a historic river front 2-bedroom, 2-bath home just short 5 min walk to downtown Hot Springs. The front yard borders the French Broad River, so bring your camp chairs and enjoy sitting by the water. The backyard has a hot tub, sauna, and grill located on a stone patio that is perfect for enjoying a cup of coffee, glass of wine, or diner under the stars. Sanders is very central to town and hiking & river activities. A heck of a laid-back getaway spot!


The house was built in 1907 but has been completely updated with modern amenities. We chose to buy this home because we have always loved Hot Springs and have enjoyed the trails, the town, the people, and the river for many years.

The French Broad River offers fishing, white water rafting, or relaxing float trips. IF YOU STAY AT OUR HOME, CALL HOT SPRINGS RAFTING AND RECEIVE $5 PER PERSON OFF ON ONE OF THEIR SERVICES.

Our home is 100 feet more or less to the Appalachian Trail. Hot Springs is a very quaint, but vibrant town. It can be one of the most relaxing places you'll ever visit! Set apart from the hustle & bustle of 'the real world' but with easy access to many amenities, you can't go wrong with a visit here! You can walk to town from our house by crossing the bridge over the French Broad river. It’s an approximate 10 minute walk.

For the safety our house, we only accept direct bookings from guests that can be verified. No 3rd party bookings.

Our home features 2 bedrooms, one with a King Bed, and the other a queen bed. There are 2 full bathrooms, 1 with a bathtub and the other with a stand up shower.
We allow up to 4 guests, and only offer sleeping space in the 2 bedrooms. Our furniture and floors are not intended for sleeping.

The internet is DSL. We have a Roku TV you can use to stream services you subscribe to. Cell service is very spotty. Verizon and US Cellular work best, AT&T doesn’t work in town.

We allow a maximum of 2 small, well behaved pets. Pets must be on a leash when not in the house. No pets on any furniture at any time. If we discover that pets have been on the furniture, there will be an additional cleaning fee. Unattended pets left in the home must be in a crate. No pets are allowed in the hot tub or sauna.

Bring a book, your hiking shoes, and a bathing suit & get ready to have a wonderful time. This is one of the only riverfront rental homes you will find within the Hot Springs city limits.

This home features a wonderful outdoor spa area equipped with a 4-person sauna, 4-person hot tub. (Our hot tub does not have natural spring water.) The Spa area also features a 200sq ft patio with seating, a gas grill as well as an outdoor fire pit.

Please note that Hot Springs is home to an abundance of ladybugs and box elder beetles. Unfortunately they will make their way into the house so please don’t be alarmed if you see them. We’ve tried just about everything to get rid of them with no success.

There are neighbors on both sides of our house. Please respect their privacy and do not trespass on their property.
