Good, comfortable accommodation for a reasonable price. Excellent breakfast. Friendly staff. Great location in a quite village. Only stopped for one night but would happily stay here again if I visited the area again.
Simple/affordable rooms above a traditional English country pub, in a lovely village location. Staff were very welcoming, rooms were comfortable and parking was easy.
Lovely place with lovely more than helpful staff, beautifully cooked breakfast. Had a great stay. Brilliant little village to explore and learn about the plague
We were greeted and made welcome, found the room comfortable and clean and, even though we hadn't booked and they were busy, they had kept us a choice of early or later table booking. Good thing, too: the place was busy - and the food was excellent. So was the breakfast next day.
The staff here are very friendly and helpful. Food was lovely including breakfast and our stay went really smoothly. I stayed here with my little girl to do some sight seeing ect. The only down fall was that the rooms are a little tired looking and its a shame there not kept quite traditional or old vintage looking to keep in with the 1600 century building. I know some things have to be modernised!....like the bathrooms are but unfortunately our bathroom was not finished in perfect condition, So, a little pricey on those notes. But, i guess thats what you pay for if you want to be right in the middle and the in heart of Eyam. All in all a great stay and i would go back and stay here again
What a great place this is to stay. It's a lovely, very friendly pub with great rooms and very friendly and very helpful staff.
The food is amazing, you have to try the steak and ale pie - it's to die for - honestly.
Two night mini break, fantastic place, really friendly staff,
the room we were in was perfect for us, with our rather large dog. Great Breakfast and plenty of choice for evening meals, just what you need after a day walking in the lovely countryside, the Bakewell pudding was exceptional.
What a lovely place.
Our meal was most enjoyable.
Staff are fantastic
Location is just perfect
The is a negative: Noise from the bar iscquite loud in our room and that was without me wearing my hearing aids.
