Beautiful location and great history. Food was delicious, unfortunately a bit of a wait between courses which we have fed back. Staff were so attentive, friendly and nice. It was a great weekend.

Beautiful building, underwhelming experience
Underwhelming experience, booked a deluxe double as it has climate control, turns out that mean a fan! Tried to change rooms and was told none of them have air-con even though it is stated on their site. The room is very different to the images. The grounds and buildings a stunning, food is excellent, just need to change the photos and update the details to manage expectations.

This property was not ADA friendly. I personally do not require elevators but some others that I was with couldn’t do stairs and our room was on the second floor. We were not told this and made it very difficult.

The room service staff purposefully didn’t take our call to order room service. Then when I called at 9:31 they advised room service had just finished and to call Deliveroo for good. We came with 2 children who then went hungry. The folder in the room advised room service was open until 10. The person we called was quite rude about it when I questioned this. The room had a view of scaffolding which for the price wasn’t great. Ruined what would have been a lovely stay.
