The Outrigger Reef exceeded expectations! Staff was very welcoming and responsive from check in to check out. The hotel is gorgeous with a complete recent remodel and a great location to walk everywhere we wanted. The Monkeypod restaurant food and staff were top knotch. Great live music nightly too and a super fun outside bar. We would definitely stay again - 5 star everything!

The property was well maintained and the staff was very friendly. My biggest complaint was the room itself. There was hair in the shower, shampoo from another guest on the outside of the shower, and coffee or something on the walls. It looked like basic cleaning. I don’t want to be in a room that has filth from previous guests.

We booked this hotel because the reviews raved about the pool. The pool is effectively unusable between 9am and 3pm due to construction noise. We ask reception about it and we’re more or less told: “too bad so sad” with a shrug. The construction noise is apparently going to last for another two weeks so I would avoid booking until then. I’m disappointed though in the customer service. It would have been helpful to have a referral to a nearby hotel where we could buy a day pass to a pool where the noise pollution doesn’t give you an optic migraine 😂 After seeing the initial review online, customer support eventually got in touch and offered us a free booked bed by the pool telling us that we wouldn't be able to hear the construction noise which was baffling and obviously untrue because it's unbelievably loud when the jack hammers are going. We also got access to a lounge on the last day of our trip, which we couldn't use because we had plans to go elsewhere. So I guess they at least made an effort to rectify things? It's just that none of these attempts made any real difference.

The hotel I like very good walking distance to everything and most of the stuff is very welcoming except the receptionist in front who’s check us in she’s not friendly at all not even asking how we doing 😪

We enjoyed our 3 nights at outrigger reef. We had a club level room in ocean tower in the 9th floor. I don’t think I’d opt for club again, we didn’t love the food and drinks there, but the hotel itself was fine. The room was nice with a great view of the ocean and of diamond head. My only complaint would be the mattress. It was old and needed to be replaced. Overall good stay.

This hotel is amazing. We were treated with excellent service by the staff. The restaurant at the hotel called monkeypod had awesome ocean side dining. Our stay was overall comfortable and enjoyable. Our family had a great time. Come check this hotel out it’s in the middle of Waikiki a perfect location.
