Cleanest, friendliest and nicest resort I’ve ever stayed at! We just checked out at 11 and we’re still in the resort lobby due to delayed flights. We were given towel cards for the pool, shower access & our luggage being kept with the Bell Hop.

Room was very clean. Location is great. Restaurant (monkeypod) was excellent Room was only cleaned once during stay and front desk gentleman we talked to twice was on the edge of rude. Otherwise it would have been a five star rating

I’m not sure what everyone expects when booking a resort, but to me, it should at least offer a relaxing and complete experience — one that allows you to fully enjoy your vacation even without leaving the property. To begin with, the staff were friendly and polite, the food was decent, and the environment was clean and tidy. However, I didn’t feel that the level of service matched what I would expect from a resort. First of all, this is the smallest resort I’ve ever stayed at. You can walk around the entire property in less than 10 minutes. The overall design and décor were nice, and it’s clear that some areas had been recently renovated. That said, certain fixtures looked old and yellowed, showing their age. But what truly disappointed me was the overall experience of the service. When I checked in, I was assigned a room in the corner next to the emergency exit. As I turned the corner toward my room, I saw a housekeeping staff member sitting in front of my door taking a break. That left a very poor first impression. Once I entered the room, I couldn’t help but feel as if I had been placed there randomly — almost like I was just “put somewhere.” The room was very bare, containing only the most basic amenities, the kind you’d find in a budget or business hotel. There were only a small bar of soap and a tiny bottle of lotion. Maybe I could have called the front desk to request more, but I feel that a resort should have a higher sense of service.
