evrey staff member was kind and helpful, and they gave me a vending machine voucher when i skipped the housekeeping.i thought that's a good way to encourage people to think about the planet. one thing i noticed is the room fridge wasn't cold enough for me.

I had booked a large bed and was given twin single beds. When asked to put us in another room, they said none are available and suggested for the two singles to be pushed together. Pushing two beds together to make one bed is not ideal as the beds move and uncomfortable to sleep on when there’s a break in the middle. Otherwise room was clean and comfortable.

First, I want to thank the Dorsett for upgrading our room for the last three nights of our stay. Our initial room was quite small for three adults and we very much appreciated the upgrade. Having said that, I have to say it was a disappointment since it is rated as a 4-star hotel. The furnishings are quite dated, the bathroom doors are glass and extremely heavy and awkward to open. The elevators are slow and I saw a small cockroach on the wall at breakfast which was off-putting. Again, we were very appreciative and happy with the upgrade but the hotel needs to be updated and improved. It did not feel at all like a 4-star hotel. Even the lobby seems old and cramped.
