Awful
A great property is well situated in Bush a great connection with the nature where you can see some wild animals roaming freely from the entrance and u can also observe them from the deck the only disappointment was the cleanliness of the rooms and the toilet the Aircon was making a hell of noise however the breakfast is great and the staff too always willing to assist we were looking to do a game Drive in Hluhluwe Umfolozi Park within the Lodge but they were too pricey I think it’s just ripped off for a 3hours Drive they were asking R 2280 per person excluding conversation fees
That’s too much a flight ticket return from Jobur to Cape Town can’t even cost u that much
Our lodge was very nice and the staff were excellent. The food on offer for both breakfast and dinner was very good with a nice mixed selection to choose from.
For a 3 stars, it is excellent. The site is very nice within a private game reserve. Just a little improvement can increase it to a better star rating. Very nice stay for surrounding visit of Umfolozi-Hluhluwe reserve. Breakfast are excellent. Dinner is not bad too. we have been 3 days. A large group arrived last day and it was too much people for the lodge facilities and personnel (has to be carefull on that).

An average lodge with average facilities but helpful staff and decent food.
Bungalow are nice and clean - while staying on a wild side. You have to drive about 3 km on a dirt road (quite passable by a compact car).Restaurant is good and staff is very friendly (but slow - which normal for SA). Walk-ways between bungalows and other buildings are elevated and easy to navigate.
A nice youg family manages the property.
Special perk is hundreds of antelopes (with many nayalas!), dozens of wild beast and zebras and a family of three giraffes in the natural environment of the large park around the lodge. The best part is that you can walk on your won - there is no predators in the park - a couple hours of trails and come close to all these beautiful animals. Staying 50 feet from father-giraff is a real thrill. If it is too much for you - you can see them from a comfortable observation deck.

Excelent location to visit the Hluhluwe/Umfolozi game park
The accommodation is recently refurbished and located in a beautiful small game park.
We had a perfect stay and I would recommend staying here for a least couple of nights. The park organizes tours to the Hluhluwe/Umfolozi park (big 5) but also guided walks over the own game park (small game like zebra, giraffe, wildebeest, nyala). There is a viewing lounge where one can sit have a drink and watch the animals drinking.
All the staff in the park are really friendly and nothing seems to be to much for them, thanks to all of them this has been an unforgettable short break holiday.
