Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
quite remote area and my rental car GPS fail to find the place via japan mapcode. Room was very clean , immaculate and beautiful despite over 5 years old. The view of the valley from our level two rooms are breathtaking. The main hiccup is that the hotel onsen was not available during our stay. However the smart tv , room balcony onsen n jaccuzi bath make up for their absent. We are not use to the Kaiseki dinner and japanese breakfast despite their varieties and beautiful dishes.
The food is excellent. The menu is well planned, and the presentation of the dishes is gorgeous. We like the private room setting. The staff is very helpful, despite the language barrier. Inside the property is quiet, and the surrounding area is very peaceful. Right next to a plum winery is a bonus. We had a great time.
Stayed in Oushuku - mineral onsen easily fitting two on balcony with views of mountains opposite, wonderfully decorated and apportioned room with everything you might need (apart from body moisturiser).
Large soaking tub
Property is gorgeous
Large indoor and beautiful outdoor onsen
Meals are delicately crafted - each meal felt like an event itself
Minimal two night stay to enjoy this place, would like liked another night
Store up the road with tastings of Umeshu and another area to sit if you want a change of scenery.
Staff very friendly, things done old school way, making each guest very welcome and special
Absolutely stunning onsen hotel! Super clean and comfort as it's a newly renovated building just by end of 2017. Overall beautiful scenery surrounded the hotel, excellent service by the staff and they have individual dining room, lots of privacy and quiet time. We came with our 2 years old son, I would say it's a kids friendly place with a small kids corner and indoor area are all very clean. In addition, our trip got delayed by one day as our son was very sick, so we had to cancel one night at last minute - the hotel was very accommodating and refunded one night of charge to us. I deeply appreciate the flexibility that they shown to the guest, would definitely come back to stay again!
