Although the Righa is starting to show its age, it’s a very comfortable and convenient hotel for those visiting Hiroshima. Staff were excellent, room comfortable and the views over the city and mountains were incredible.

Great location, with views to Hiroshima Castle from the room I had and a metro station within 2 mins walk of the property. Helpful staff, always going above and beyond to help. Sky Restaurant has amazing views of the city on 33rd floor. Only thing I would say the rooms are a little dated, but no complaints and all works as it should.

The hotel was very nice, staff was great. Rooms were very old though could use a renovation. The restaurants also could use more flavoring to the food the food in the city tasted much better. Also the A/C took forever to cool the room. Shower was amazing though.

The room and bathroom were both spacious, with a great view of the City from the 28th floor window. The front desk staff were helpful and efficient. The Hotel location was great for walking to the tourist areas, and for transport to the station and Miyajima.

Our stay here was great. The hotel is a bit dated but it is conveniently located, the room was very clean and large, housekeeping was thorough and the breakfast was fantastic. Our daughter loved the automatic pancake machine and rice dispencer. Very cool. The staff were exceptional as well. Really great service here. The location is walkable to the major sites around Hiroshima and we took a nearby ferry to Hiyajima as well. If you care about having something young and trendy, this may not be the right choice but it definitely worked for us.

No coffee in the room and to order on line it was ~$21 for two cups of coffee, needed to ask for toilet paper on arrival, ice bucket left full of water after room cleaned. Staff were attentive to our requests and very respectful. Rooms are outdated. The breakfast isn't free as you elect to purchase it for a fee.

The hotel staff are exceedingly friendly. We arrived early and dropped of our bags so we could go sight seeing for a few hours. When we came back and checked in they brought our bags to the room. There was jo charge for them holding the bags or delivering them to our room. The rooms were spacious and well appointed. We had dinner in the hotel at the Japanese Teppanyaki restaurant on the sixth floor and the service and food were both very good.

We had a high floor and corner room with a great view. The shower and tub had great water pressure. The Japanese breakfast and buffet breakfast were delicious. The service was fantastic. The small store inside the hotel had snacks and drinks available. The location was perfect for exploring the Peace Park and castle.

This is a truly extraordinary hotel! It’s location is close to everything we came to Hiroshima to see. The room was superb. Perhaps, best of all, the top floor dining room, where we had our complementary drink and breakfast has one of the best views I’ve ever seen in any hotel anywhere! I’m not kidding. We’ve traveled a lot and this is extraordinary.
