Great location to trail riding
Location was great. Close to Hill City and the riding trails. The cabin was great, but two things, the futon was not comfortable to sit on, too low/hard to get out for an adult. Mattresses were too firm.

Remote cabin
We loved the cabin. Don't worry about the lack of AC, it gets cool every night at that elevation. Off the beaten path, beautiful scenery all around and lots of wildlife. Don't panic when you drive up, it feels so much bigger on the inside than it looks on the outside. Our family will be back!

It was everything that was in the description along with a friendly black cat. We had a nice visit with the owner, Nick. Thanks Kathy Lewis. Dean

Decent little cabin
Okay little cabin. There is little to no service at the cabin and no WiFi - that being said it’s kind of nice to be off the grid. There is definitely a moth problem in the cabin.. not sure where they came from, but they are everywhere. Furniture and beds are not very comfortable. No A/c which might be okay in the fall, but it was hot this past week. Board games might be a good addition so you have something to do while there. On a positive note the property manager was very kind and helpful!

Loved the remoteness, solitude, and rustic cabin. Lot’s of wildlife and winding mountain roads.
Would stay here again. Awesome mornings spent on the porch having coffee and watching the deer, horses, and cows.

This is a beautiful property away from it all. Quiet, clean, and beautiful all around. The cabin had everything you need to make a memorable week out in the black hills

Cute little cabin just needs some extras
The cabin was cute and great for our stay in the Hills, the only suggestions I could make would be if you have a grill for guests to use please provide grilling utensils. The living room furniture would be better if they were more comfortable, maybe a pull out sofa instead of a futon. The moths were a little out of control not sure where they all came from, but maybe spray for them before guests come out.

Remote Black Hills Hideaway
Yes this cabin is a ways from town but it was exactly what we wanted/needed. Very quiet and peaceful. A place to unwind at the end of a busy day.
