This is a pet friendly home for one small dog, under 20 pounds. Pets must be pre-approved. An additional non-refundable pet fee is required and is not included in the rental fee. Please call our office for approval and to pay the pet fee. Failure to adhere to this policy will result in a $1000.00 fine.
Only adults (25 years old and older) may reserve this property and an adult must occupy the property at all times.
This charming 3BR/3BA cottage has been completely renovated and remodeled and features a huge stone fireplace in the great room and a first floor master. From the front door, turn right and enjoy all the conveniences of being within easy walking distance of your favorite shops and restaurants in downtown Highlands – or turn left and you’re at the trailhead of the Highlands Greenway system – offering over 10 miles of natural trails and sidewalks that are open and free to the public daily from sunrise to sunset.
Grayling Cottage features beautiful hardwood flooring, reclaimed hand-hewn ceiling beams in the vaulted living room, designer kitchen with top-of-the-line stainless steel appliances, stone fireplace with gas logs and remote control, lovely landscaping and hardscaping, high-speed Wi-Fi, and a Tesla Destination Charging station. Parking is limited to two cars but there is additional parking across the street. Park in front of the house and follow the path up the large stone steps to the entrance of this lovely home.
Conveniently located and less than a 5-minute walk to Main Street in downtown Highlands with easy access to Kelsey Hutchinson Park right across the street. The Highlands Recreation Center, pool, dog park, and skate park are right next door so whether it's outdoor activities or dining & shopping, everything is right outside the front door!

Cancellation Policy
Policy (A) for reservations less than 20 days:
A reservation canceled between 0-45 days prior to arrival is not eligible to receive a refund. If more than 45 days notice is given, the renter shall receive a refund of all payments made, less a cancellation fee of 10% of the Total Cost of the Reservation.
Policy (B) for reservations of 20 days or more and reservations made 6 months in advance:
NO refund is given unless the property is re-rented under the same terms (Trip insurance is available and recommended to help protect your trip).
