"It was great to find a hotel close to Asheville that had water and power. They have a restaurant on site with a great bartender. Food was delicious. The area is still torn up with a bunch of downed trees, but the main building was clean and quiet. Check in was a bit of a hassle but the staff there was quick to help. Will certainly stay there again as I am working the hurricane damages and will be back. "

"We had a last-minute opening in our schedule, so we booked right away. After seeing the 10/10 reviews, I was really excited to show my parents the beautiful fall colors and some wildlife! Nathan, the owner, was very kind and sent us updated directions since the usual road was damaged by the hurricane. But overall, it wasn’t bad at all. Just 30 minutes after we arrived, a family of five deer and four wild turkeys wandered into the front yard! The rental is on the first floor with 3 bedrooms and 1 full bath, all super clean and much nicer than the photos on the site. Our 5-year-old son even said, ‘I want to stay here forever!’ Needless to say, we’ll definitely be back soon."
