Orust is one of Sweden's largest islands with a wide range of activities for young and old, especially nature activities and taste experiences with the sea as a recurring theme. If you want to take a day trip, visit both Uddevalla with its beautiful beach promenade and the Bohusläns Museum and Gothenburg with a wide selection of restaurants, shopping and museums. The whole family will love a trip to the Liseberg amusement park. If you prefer to stay closer to home, you can visit some of the many smaller island and coastal communities such as Mollösund, Käringön and Hälleviksstrand.
