The room was very well-equipped and comfy. However, it was quite small (good for 1 or 2 max), and we are used to a much firmer mattress. Access was easy, and we had no need to communicate with the host. We appreciated the welcome muffins and info package. John has a lovely backyard area that can be used. We enjoyed our stay!

We enjoyed our stay very much. John was so accommodating and helpful. It was located close to a Lot of places. It was slightly smaller than we expected but had everything we needed and was very clean. The bed was very soft and could be firmer. John was a great host.

We booked 3 nights but left after1 & regret we even checked in. This listing is extremely misleading. After reviewing the listing we were expecting an entire house to ourselves with fully equipped kitchen, patio, backyard etc. What was actually provided: a small bedroom/bathroom with hotel size microwave & refrigerator, separated from the OWNER OCCUPIED home by a locked door. We were also provided a small wooden table & 2 chairs by the front entry of the home. This was TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE and listing must be changed to ACCURATELY describe what you are renting (and renamed Hayden Bedroom). We kindly request and expect a refund. Edward T.

My boyfriend and I had a wonderful stay at John's beautiful home. Was greeted when we arrived. Wished my boyfriend Happy Birthday. The residence looks exactly like the pictures. Everything was very clean, and necessitates were provided. Even received complimentary muffins, and water! Also most comfortable bed I‘ve ever slept on. Neighborhood was also vert cute, and quiet. I 100% recommend everyone to stay here. Thank you John!

Great place for one person or a couple. Everything you need for a short stay. Close to Hayden Lake, a few golf courses and a good variety of restaurants. Check in was souer easy. Much better than the local hotels. Will stay again.

The space is a cozy little room with all the necessary amenities including a fireplace, A/C, TV, fridge, microwave and coffee maker. It included a private bathroom and separate outside entrance. This is an amazing property for the price point, because it's an apartment carved out of a single-family home set in a very upscale neighborhood in a pine forest. The main room is decorated very well (there's even an electric fireplace) and there's a full bathroom with updated fixtures, great water pressure and plenty of hot water. There's a parking place dedicated to the apartment, right on site. The area is very quiet. No traffic noise noticeable at all. The host is on site and proved most welcoming and responsive to every need. The only limitation is the size of the apartment. There's one bed, period. So, two people maximum. I happened to be traveling by myself so it was just perfect for me.

The property is nice enough but misleading. Vrbo's advertising boasts having your own space and the property listing states "you will have the entire home to yourself." This wasn't true & I made my decision to book based on both ads. The rental is actually a room attached to the host house & only a door that locks from other side, separates the 2. I would never be interested in a rental with no privacy. I feel misled. If privacy is not an issue, the place is fine but Vrbo isnt the place for it or Vrbo needs to change its advertising or screen better.

Such a fantastic place to stay! It is so noticeably clean and welcoming from the moment you walk through the door. We loved all the thoughtful touches, from the welcome letter and muffins, to the cute cups set up all neat and ready for coffee. It was very helpful to have a refrigerator, and it was so easy to adjust the room temperature for comfort. Definitely the best mattress I’ve slept on in a long time, and the neighborhood is so quiet, that it was easy to sleep in and relax. John is a kind and friendly host who clearly cares about guest comfort and happiness. We definitely know where we’ll be staying next time we are in the area!

John's place was amazing, the place is very private and comfortable! John had all the essentials that other places often miss, shower gel, shampoo, lotion etc. We were welcomed with muffins, water, the experience was amazing! Will definitely stay here every time I visit!
