Accueil irréprochable. Top roof superbe, cocktail de bienvenue chaque jour, possibilité de repas diverses, frais et bien cuisinés. Ici tout le monde est au petits soins. Très bien situé pour se déplacer dans La Havane. Possibilité de payer les extras par transfert bancaire… ce qui est un vrai plus pour économiser un cash très précieux à La Havane. Je recommande sans aucune hésitation.

Pros: Boa localização. Bom atendimento. Contras: Péssimo Wifi Só aceita pagamento com cartão. Não tem café da manhã incluso. Os preços do restaurante são altos, acima da média dos restaurantes vizinhos. O acesso ao banheiro é feito através de uma escada sem nenhuma proteção, se cair pode ser fatal. O banheiro não oferece nenhuma privacidade. Dicas: Ao caminhar pela rua, pessoas o abordam oferecendo todo tipo de "ajuda". Na verdade, eles vão te levar a estabelecimentos onde você vai pagar a mais e essa pessoa terá uma comissão. Ao ir a um restaurante sempre pergunte a taxa de conversão caso for pagar em dólar, geralmente são 300 pesos. E avise caso queira troco em dólar. Os comerciantes utilizam a taxa para se aproveitar dos turistas. Evite comprar charutos em viñales, no tour, os preços são bem maiores do que em Havana.

We landed in Cuba during an island-wide power outage. No problem . . . . the entire staff made extra efforts to make our stay terriifc. Jorge and Eveline are stars for Art Studio. Can't recommend a place more in Havana Vieja.

ABSOLUTELY DO NOT stay Art Studio Habana Vieja 55

Before I booked, I saw the hotel does not have an elevator. The information was “If you have requests for specific accessibility needs, please contact the property using the information on the reservation confirmation received after booking.” After booking I did that. I told them I needed a room on the ground floor. At the time I also booked a 2nd stay for my return to Havana a few days later. When I arrived at the hotel, I was given a 3rd floor room!? The staff was kind & carried my 2 suitcases, up but it was difficult for me to do the stairs. Then HAVE TO TAKE STAIRS TO THE 4TH FLOOR for breakfast. More concerning was that the owner was very rude, very rude. I DID stick out the original 4 day booking on the 3rd floor, but I just could not stay at the hotel on my return. I had to cancel. I had a non-refundable booking. I gave the hotel the courtesy of canceling so they could attempt to resell the room, as opposed to just not showing up. On my return to the States, I requested Hotels.com try to work something out with the hotel owner. They tried and the owner refused any compromise. The description of Art Studio Habana Vieja 55 on Hotels.com is mis-leading and lacks accurate information. I go to Cuba 3 or 4 times a year. There are plenty of nice, clean, affordable places Americans can stay AND be appreciated by the owner. Art Studio Habana Vieja 55 is not one of them. Let my loss be a warning for you.

Highly recommend!

Had such a great experience here! The room was comfortable and the hosts were outstanding! They helped me book day trips and had an answer to every question I had. I felt safe and comfortable throughout my stay. Everyone here was so kind and welcoming, I will definitely stay here again if I am ever in Havana again!
