If your looking for tranquility this is the place. I suprised my wife for her birthday with a weekend away and some much needed down time. We canoed the pond and walked the trails. The beaver's occasionally swam by and we were visited by the blue jays and the gray jays. Bring your candles for those candle lit evenings, remember no hydro. The location was easy to find and everthing was as the pics show. If needed you can charge your phone with the solar powered charger and signal strength is good. It got a little chilly at night so popped a log in the wood stove and warmed the cottage nicely. We will definitely be returning to this natural oasis

Beautiful views and very private!
Driveway was easy to find with instructions provided, long driveway (3 minutes to cottage) do not recommend low riding vehicles but our car managed. Very rustic with a pump for well water in the kitchen, all basic necessities were there(some potable water, dishes, pots/pans, cutlery, misc spices, etc.) Outhouse is tiny but ok for an outhouse I guess, indoor chamber pot a nice convenience at night! Bed looks fragile but it's not, it's wrought-iron lol bird watching was awesome, the quiet, wild blueberries, the sunsets!! 😍 Did see a mouse but only the once, screened in porch necessary because the mosquitoes were pretty bad at dusk. I would rent this place again, maybe in the fall too. A great escape!

Beaver Pond Cottage
A beautiful, quiet , peaceful spot. Perfect little getaway to disconnect. The pond was scenic and peaceful and had four beavers and two dens. The cottage was rustic and cozy and had everything you needed for an off the grid experience. The host was very responsive and accommodating.
