The room was nice, the bed was very comfortable! The carpets throughout the hotel were refreshingly, very clean. The breakfast buffet was very good, and the staff was great. Our waitress, Nancy, was absolutely amazing! She took care of us and all of her guests, as if we were family! She loves her job and it shows. She’s a great representative of the company and the level of care she puts into her job is why people stay at Marriott hotels around the world! Great job Nancy!!

Quiet Luxury
This hotel is very comfortable and convenient to the Hartford area. Our room was clean and quiet. I cannot say enough about the wonderful restaurant staff. Thank you! The cleaning staff was superb.

Not great, but not horrible.
The bathroom door was disgusting. It has stuff all over the door - not sure what it was but it had not been wiped down in a while. The same with the walls in the actually room. They were very, very dirty and could be cleaned or repainted. You can tell that this Marriott property is not maintained as well as other Marriotts. Pretty disappointed in this stay as I do stay in Marriotts quite a bit.

My wife and I are over 68 years old and we checked in to a room. At 7:25 am this morning…there was a knock at our door repeatedly and we were still in bed. When my wife got to the door, she asked who it was, and they banged again, and there were two men in front of the door who said that they were with housekeeping and they needed to clean the room. My wife told them that we had not checked out and that we didn’t need any service at this time and they should come back after we checked out…one of the men open the door.. w need to get in now.. obviously, she refused to open the door at that point. When I heard that, I jumped out of bed because I knew there was going to be an issue. When I got out into the hall after getting dressed, there was a woman who didn’t speak English with the cart right next to our room and then there were two or three men walking down the hall. I asked one of them if he was the one that knocked on our door and he nodded yes. I turned around and walked away because then I knew at least the two men probably were with your housekeeping staff. I told the man who I asked the question if he knocked on our door and I told him we haven’t checked out that we would probably be in there an hour or two and he can come back then. Less than an hour. He returned and wanted in again.. I showed up at the door and told him to leave. I refuse to stay at this property again even though I had stayed there several times.

The hotel itself was clean, the rooms really good. Food was definitely overpriced with a 5 dollar room service delivery fee. The pool was frigid. The only complain I have is that this hotel double charged me ! I had booked the hotel through hotel.com and when I checked out, the front desk charged my card for the the stay and I had already paid. I am still waiting for a refund !
