Don't arrive late or it will be later
We were driving from Tennessee to California and new we were going to need a place to sleep for a few hours. I jumped on Hotels.com and found this HoJo and booked it. About 11:30pm I received a call asking when we were going to arrive. I told the person that we were on track for about 1:30am. We pulled in about 1:40 and I went to check in and no body was around. I picked up the phone, as the note on the counter said, and it rolled to voice mail. I did this at least 10 times over the next 15 minutes. The buddy I was traveling with finally walked in to see what was taking so long. I then noticed a packet of keys on the counter. I grabbed them and asked my buddy to check to see if these worked and tried the phone a couple more times. About the time my buddy came back; a gentleman cam walking into the lobby in his pajamas and asked if he could help us. He then checked us in and I asked if we had the right keys. He said yes and off we went get a few hours of sleep, it was then about 2:15am. We got to the room and the AC wouldn't work (we finally got it to work). The room appear to be clean. That was until about 6am when I went to take a shower and the bottom of the tub was brown. I looked around the toilet and it looked as though that area had not been swept in a very long time. We just loaded up and went to the lobby. We grabbed a yogurt and started to walk out when a lady barked at us that they weren't open until 6:30. We just left. Won't be back.
