The hotel seemed newer and was very nice; we would definitely stay here again when visiting Wabash for an archery tournament. The pool and patio were nice, and they offered a great breakfast. The area around the hotel was quiet, clean, and seemed safe, with lots of nearby restaurants and Domino's delivery available.
The only downside was that a softball tournament was happening the same weekend, so the hotel was full of softball kids and parents. This would have been fine except that each night they partied on the patio until late. Our room was located above the back patio, so when we tried to sleep at 10-11 pm to get up early for the tournament, we couldn't.
The second night, the softball group set off fireworks behind the hotel at 10-11 pm, waking us up. We waited for the fireworks to stop, but they didn't. Finally, I went to the front desk to find out what was going on and discovered it was hotel guests. The desk clerk must have told them to stop after I complained because the fireworks finally ceased. The guests were very disrespectful, and we didn't understand why the hotel allowed it to go on for so long. It wouldn't have been so terrible if we didn't have to get up at 5:30-6 am each morning for the tournament. Being tired was frustrating.
