A little surprised that there is no air conditioner. Fortunately it was not too hot on my days even in August. Staffs are excellent. Would stay here again.
I was very disappointed with this hotel as i have stayed in Ibis properties begore. The rooms erre dirty and needs an upgrade. The carpet was filthy and the tubshower was not safe. No handrails in tub. Friends and i stayed for just one night as we were catching a cruise ship. There are many other hotels close to cruise terminsl that i would stay at if cruising out of southampton again.
Booked a room a few months before the visit, and checked in online when promted. When we arrived around 10pm after a day of travel, there was no room for us. Terrible service, which is not expected from a well known and trusted chain like this. They just want to take your money, and not provide the service.
Arrived early and front desk was very friendly and helpful. Stored our luggage, gelped arrange taxi for the morning departure and gave us a layout of the area. Where to get lunch and coffee. Very helpful.
