This really is a remote wilderness - the last true wilderness in Europe.
Amazing wildlife - red deer, roe deer, wild cats, eagles, otters. Fishing available. Forest walks, moorland walks. Trout/salmon river passes through grounds. Remote lochs all around. Free fishing on the river and also on nearby Loch Dubh.

Built in 2023. Almost the only available property available to rent on Scotland's only natural UNESCO World Heritage Site - The Flowlands.

25 miles from Wick/Thurso/John O Groats/Castle of Mey. 0.5 miles from Altnabreac Train Station.

It was certainly an adventure getting to the cottage whilst folliwing the directions 🤔 But the property was even better than we had expected

Middle of nowhere!
Literally in the middle of nowhere but if you like that sort of thing this is the place to be. We loved it for a few nights. House was great, road to get there was not but we have 4 wheel drive and our kids thought it was hilarious.
