The Space:
Our beautifully furnished, top-floor condo combines timeless elegance with modern amenities featuring two plush queen-sized bedrooms, each draped in fresh linens, ensuring a peaceful night's sleep. The open-plan living area, boasting comfortable sofas and a smart TV, provides a perfect ambience for movie nights or catching up on your favorite shows.
Rounding off the day with a soak in our claw-foot bathtub is a delight. The bathroom, which blends historic appeal with modern convenience, is stocked with fluffy towels and essential toiletries to ensure your utmost comfort.
The brightly-lit, well-equipped kitchen invites you to prepare your favorite meals or enjoy a leisurely breakfast. Key appliances include a refrigerator, oven, microwave, stove, coffee maker, and dishwasher, alongside essential cookware, dishes, and silverware.
Although there is no elevator and no private entrance, rest assured the climb to our top-floor sanctuary is worth it, as it offers breathtaking views, absolute privacy, and an atmosphere of calm and relaxation.
Please note, to safeguard our property's charm and cleanliness, we do not permit pets, and all guests are kindly asked to refrain from smoking.
Guest Access:
Guests will have full access to our spacious two-bedroom condo, including the living area, bathroom, and kitchen. You'll find ample free street parking readily available near the property. The condo features a self-check-in via a keypad for your convenience. While we might not offer a private entrance, your privacy is guaranteed as you'll have the entire top floor to yourselves. Please be mindful that the property is on the top floor, which means a short climb up the stairs.
Other Things to Note:
Hagerstown is steeped in intriguing history, evident at every turn. A stroll along South Prospect Street will transport you back in time, past elegant Victorian homes and historic buildings. The condo's location offers easy access to vital landmarks such as the Antietam Battlefield and Whitetail Resort, making it an ideal base for your winter holiday. Picture returning from a day of skiing or history tours to the warm, inviting comfort of our condo. If your plans for the upcoming Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Presidents Day, or Memorial Day involve exploring the beauty and history of Hagerstown, our condo will make an excellent choice.
Hagerstown's vibrant downtown area, teeming with shops, cultural attractions, and a diverse array of gastronomic delights, is just a short distance away. Why not sample a show at the beautifully restored Maryland Theatre or explore the Washington County Museum of Fine Arts?
Our prime location also offers efficient public transportation options if you prefer to park your vehicle and explore. Uber and Lyft services as well as bus and taxi services are readily available.
While staying with us, don't forget to explore the Hagerstown City Park and the Pennsylvania Dutch Market. If you enjoy art, a visit to the JUST LOOKIN' GALLERY and the Miller House Museum will leave you enchanted. The condo is well-equipped with essential amenities like Wifi, TV, Washer/dryer, iron, air conditioning, and heating to make your stay comfortable. However, while we offer full access to all amenities within the property, we kindly request guests to respect our additional house rules and check-out times to maintain the serene environment and cleanliness of our property. Please note, we uphold a strict anti-drug and no partying policy in our property. While catering to your valuable comfort, we take your security seriously; therefore, please ensure the front door remains locked whenever you're away.
* $40 per hour unapproved late checkout fee.
*Any guests beyond the number listed on your itinerary will be charged a $50 per person per night penalty. We reserve the right to terminate your stay without refund if you exceed the maximum occupancy (#guests)
*CHECK-IN / CHECK-OUT: - Check-in is after 4pm, and check-out is by 10am. Arriving slightly earlier, or want that extra hour to sleep? Should be fine, but please check with me first.
*OCCUPANCY: - I understand that for a whole verity of reasons, you may want additional guests to stay in the place. In the event that you want additional guests to stay, please contact me to let me know. I’m reasonable and will accommodate wherever possible.
*AGE REQUIREMENTS: - There is a minimum age requirement of 21+. Guests under the age of 21 are still entirely welcome – they will just need to be accompanied by parents or guardians.
*NO SMOKING: - There is no smoking of any kind in the house. If you need to smoke, you can step out to the curb and pocket your butt.
*DRUGS: Illicit drugs - What you do in your personal time is entirely up to you, but when staying at my place I have a strict no drug use policy. This is just the law… not so much one of my rules.
*BEHAVIOR: - If you’re coming to Hagerstown to party you’ve picked a great area to do so. Unfortunately, just not at my place. Though I'm sure it won’t come to it, serious complaints of unruly behavior will, unfortunately, result in you being asked to leave. Not good for you. Not good for me. Any excessive necessary cleaning is subject to an additional cleaning fee.
*DAMAGE: - I understand that accidents happen. But I do ask that you please let me know when they do. Chances are I can fix them as effortlessly as possible which also means better chances of having your full security deposit returned too.
*BARBEQUE/GRILLING: - Unfortunately since it’s a multi-unit building grilling of any kind is strictly prohibited. Even outside on the patio, in or near the building (this includes gas and charcoal grills). Violating this rule will result in forfeiture of security deposit and you may be asked to vacate.
*CLEANLINESS: - Whilst I do a thorough professional clean between each guest stay, I kindly ask that prior to leaving, you put any dirty dishes or kitchenware used in the sink and put used towels on the floor by the laundry closet. It helps us get through the cleaning process quicker and allows me to keep cleaning costs down for you and future guests.
*AMENITIES: - The easiest way to disrupt an enjoyable stay is a plumbing problem. To prevent this, we kindly ask you to please place things like sanity napkins in the sanitary bin we’ve provided in the bathroom. We simply want to ensure you have a royal flush kind of holiday :)
*ELECTRICITY: - To keep our costs down (and pass those savings on to our guests) we kindly ask that you switch off lights and the A/C or heating when it’s not in use or leaving the house. Mother nature thanks you too.
*SECURITY: - To ensure full safety of my guest’s belongings, please keep the front door locked as a precautionary measure. Whilst being one of the safe areas of town, I want to ensure every guest stay remains problem free, and this is just one small + simple thing we’re able to do to ensure that.
*ACCESS: - Please help avoid problems for everybody and stay out of locked closets and cabinets.
*NOISE: - To be considerate to the other residents/guests, I kindly ask to keep things on the quieter-side after 10 pm. And if you want to listen to music, please remember others and enjoy via headphones or in your personal space.
*LAUNDRY: - Washer and Dryer use is available for guests staying for a week or longer. If you use the dryer, please clean the lint trap after each use.
