The receptionist gave me a room that other people were already occupying. We were given a room on the first floor in the back building, luckily there was nobody in the room that I walked in to but there was a dress up and several bags so I was very confused and I had immediately went back to the front desk to ask for another room. It was very uncomfortable walking in to a room that already had things in it and it was very awkward to have to go back and explain to the receptionist that I needed a different room as she played it off like “that should never happen.” We were then given a room on the second floor rather than the first floor. The bathtub was quite dirty and it was quite difficult to sleep with the provided pillows as they were small but other than that it was an average room considering the price. Breakfast was okay, however the pancake machine did not have mix and was not ready to use when we went down for breakfast.

We stayed the night for a concert at the Wharf and the hotel and room were very clean and quiet. Parking lot was well lit. Staff were very friendly and helpful. For the area the price was great. The biscuits and gravy were excellent. We didn’t use the pool but it looked very clean. Entire property was well kept and very convenient to area attractions. Thanks for a great trip!

Clean Room, Staff was very customer friendly and willing to assist when needed. Free Breakfast was filling with many options from Pancakes to Biscuits and Gravy, with sausage and eggs and more. Location is convenient to Target and some well known Restaurants. Gulf Shores Beach is not far (maybe 10 minutes). I would stay at this location again!

First room smelled musty moved to another room turned furnace on set off smoke detector no blankets in room so I just asked for blanket and made the best out of a bad situation

Great staff but incredibly small rooms

First the staff was amazing. They were so friendly and ready to answer any question you had. We stay often at Microtel but this was so much smaller than any we had stayed at. No place to hang your clothes and no drawers. That should be a part of the description of the hotel. This is not very convenient for more than a couple of days.

The breakfast was good. It was quiet where my room was. The diverter valve in the tub needs to be changed out. It constantly dripped from the faucet and the water didn't go down all way during my showers. The wifi password was no where in the room and there was no phone to call the front desk. I wasn't there much so I didn't bring any of this up.

The front desk clerk at check in was friendly. Online a hair dryer is listed as a room essential yet there was no hair dryer anywhere in the room. Had we known there wouldn’t be one we would have brought one from home. Also the water was way too hot after the first person took a shower. I attempted to take one after my friend and I was almost scalded by how hot it was, even when I turned it down to cold. It just wouldn’t cool.
