Room was very clean, the staff was great, and so were all the amenities. It was a great trip and the kids loved it!
Room was amazing! Bed was so comfortable! Staff was incredible! Woodcraft restaurant was disappointing. Server was wonderful! Food was badly overcooked. If you have dinner guest while staying there, they must pay to park. Other than that, everything was great!
Had no idea major construction was taking place when I made this reservation. Woke up the first day to bulldozers moving dirt and workers tearing down wood forms with sledgehammers...at 7:15 a.m. right outside my room. This went on all week.
Room was beautiful, very nice. Staff was always helpful.

The staff was great!
The fact that they were under construction was a bit disappointing. To hear drills in the morning was not appreciated. The outdoor construction did not bother us, just the indoor.
The room was clean, very average in appearance.
Have never had to pay for parking before, just caught me off guard, guess it’s the new way these days.
But overall, loved the location and the amenities. Will stay again and would recommend.
We would love to come back to this property again-after the remodel is completed. We had a beautiful view, clean room, friendly staff, and good food. We could walk to the park and ride bikes and the segways. The beach was great. We weren’t told about the remodel that was in progress. before our visit. Workers did their best to keep work contained, but the generator was below our balcony. It was all we heard during day hours. The remodel will be beautiful and enhance a great property.

Disliked: Property conditions & facilities
This was a very nice property. However, I put leftovers in the fridge for them to then freeze. I can’t find a single microwave in the entire hotel which is absurd. Motel 6 even has microwaves. The walls also must be made out of paper as I can hear literally everything that goes on in the hallway. I shouldn’t be woken up on Sunday morning at 8am because of noise in the hallway.
Room was clean and beautiful. They’re building a new pool so there was some construction going on under our room, but they didn’t disturb us, and didn’t start working early. It was quite a walk to the beach, but that’s only temporary until the new pool is finished and they reopen that beach access. My only minor complaint is there is no restroom close to the temporary beach access that I could find, so it’s quite a walk to the lobby or current pool restrooms.
Breakfast is not free. The parking is far from the check in counter and you have to pay for it! You can't bring your own drinks or a cooler to the pool. The fire alarm randomly went off one night and the front desk staff did nothing about it. If you book with expedia or anything other than Hilton, you probably won't get the room you booked. Our room was just open when we got to it and the rooms are so far away from the front desk if you get in the 50s + numbers. The view of the beach was nice and the balacony, but other than that it was a hassle and nothing was done to fix the hotels mistakes.
Parking is inconvenient, especially if you self-park ($15/day). Valet parking ($22/day) shares the same area that is 400' from the hotel front entrance.
Nothing is in walking distance (except the state park across the road). Guests will either walk to and from the parking lot 2-3 times a day, or wait and tip a valet attendant 2-3 times a day. This situation becomes worse in inclement weather.
The pool is ordinary.
The only access from the sprawling resort property to the beach is via a long boardwalk from the SW corner. Not especially convenient.
Going anywhere at this property is a trek.
A pair of chaise lounges with an umbrella at the beach will cost you $45 a day.
Bed and pillows were comfortable. Walk-in shower was roomy with strong water pressure.
Each room comes with a pair of 16 oz. bottle of water @ $3.00.
Porter trolleys are not available to guests.
