Staff was incredibly friendly. Looks like the grounds are still being renovated. Rooms are updated, but some little quirks and things that needs addressing: slanted foundation in the room we were in (not too much a big deal, just quirky), water dripping from sky light in bathroom, bathtub draining incredibly slowly, and what looked like old water/yellow soap stain on comforter ( this was addressed immediately, but not great to see, obviously). The room we were staying in, indicated there were “two” parking spots, but “two” is being very generous. It was more like one, unless you had two very small compact cars. We ended up parking somewhere else on the property. Again, not a big deal, but little details that affected our overall stay to rate as average. And given the pricing per night, not super impressed.

Looks very clean and nice. Wine bar doesn’t exist. If you like pillow top mattresses you’ll be fine but if you don’t like feeling parts of your body drop down to a rock hard surface, the beds aren’t great. We had one desk light that didn’t work. There is not a fireplace but a fireplace switch. Gap between room and bathroom is shoddy and gross. Now to the bathroom- half the lights were out or didn’t match, literally one hanging out of the socket and another covered with blue tape. The shower is an adventure in itself. With the showerhead being approximately 6 inches below the ceiling, if you are 7 feet tall, this is perfect for you! However if you are closer to 5’4”, prepare for the most uncomfortable and awkward shower of your life. The shower head sits so high that the water mostly hits the wall. I literally was pressed against the wall, trying to rinse my body without my face and hair being pummeled by the extremely strong water pressure (this was the good part). Teeny tiny shower so if you are under 7 feet tall and try to wash sand off your feet, be ready to start to fall out of teeny tiny shower while trying to wash and avoid volcanic-esque shower water hitting your face. For the $300 a night we paid, this felt more like a $100 motel. My complaints to the hotel resulted in being offered a TEN percent discount (so nothing) for our next stay. Don’t bother- we will always stay somewhere else.

Our room was a deluxe suite with kitchenette. The room was very large and had a very nice balcony overlooking a wooded area. The room was not fancy, but the bed was very comfortable which is my primary criteria for judging a room. The best aspect was that it was a very short walk to restaurants and coffee shops in Guerneville. I would stay there again.

We were charged one price by you and then we got to the hotel and were charged an extra hundred dollars. Also their pool was gross full of moss and they had no wine bar on premises that was advertised on their website. We were also told we had a patio with a valley view, but we had a balcony with a somewhat garden/parking lot view. Also, Saturday morning we were woken up by tree trimmers right outside our balcony.

We had a wonderful stay at West Sonoma Inn. My friend and I booked a room with a deck with views of the vineyard. It was so relaxing. We spent most of our time on the deck drinking wine and catching up. The town is about 5 minutes walk from the hotel. It was a great location and in the morning we walked to get breakfast before heading out for a short hike to Armstrong State Park. Naveed was so helpful and granted us a late check out as well. He was very nice and I hope to return with my family.

We had a peaceful weekend staying here, such a beautiful view of the redwoods and vineyards. Also walking distance from downtown, river beaches and short drive to the coast. We checked in late which the owner helped us with, the property itself had a lot of different areas that I wish we checked out more. We can’t wait to stay here again!

Lovely property! Starting with the best part - location! Walkable to the entire Main St area of restaurants and shops. And we walked to Johnson’s Beach which I really appreciated after seeing the line of cars trying to park! Quiet and updated rooms, good AC, easy parking. The pool was relaxing and I loved having a deck facing the valley, beautiful scene for morning coffee!
