A basic hotel room in this tourist town.
I had a nice stay. Sound carries throughout the hotel. I could hear other guests talking in their rooms. Fortunately the other guests seemed to be quiet like me and it didn't affect my ability to sleep. I reserved my room with Mastercard, but they wouldn't accept it for payment. They take Visa, but apparently their card reader didn't like my card. I used the same card to take cash from Banorte to pay for my stay.

Good location but they won’t check you in early.
It was a ok motel but a little old fashion. The location is perfect but the check in was not good. They were strict with the check and I had to wait till 3 pm. Other hotel would allow me to check in early.

Disappointing - no welcome -
No Hotel sign at the closed door. Nobody there at all, long wait. Owner of Optical store next door called and someone from another hotel (friendly) arrived finally to let us in. when opening the closet doors... we had a brick wall in front of us...nowhere to hang anything. No hook anywhere. Large room with 2 Juliette Balconies facing the busy street (noisy). No cup or glass. Did get it finally. Overall stay still good since we are flexible. But would not be at full price Pesos 1180.00 (too much) - we had a 50% discount when we booked with hotels.com - Would not stay again although the area is great. Lots of galleries, Restaurants and Museums around......

Basic but good
First the bad news: Terrible shower water pressure. Casa San Roque took rustic to a new level for me. The curtains were almost transparent and allowed much light in. It was hard for me to sleep. They should turn the lights off at midnight. Now, the good news: In my latest trip, the wife and I slept in 4 different places. San Roque's bed, the best. It was comfy and firm. Another best, location. Seriously, you're minutes from all the great places in this small city.

Nice hotel close to the centro.
I would stay there again.Not that expensive and clean.I really thought it was what we needed.Most of the day we were out but It was a comfortable place to sleep.Very polite and helpful staff.

Gran opción para hospedarte en Guanajuato
Había leído referencias no tan buenas del hotel, pero la estancia fue mucho mejor de lo esperado, el personal muy amable, la ubicación genial, la habitación estaba limpia, con una cama muy cómoda, el baño cuenta con agua caliente, el Internet funcionó muy bien. Sin dudarlo volvería.
