Nasty, dirty hotel. I reserve for 3 nights and left after the first night. No updates whats so ever. Mattress looked like it was 20 yrs old. I slept on the sofa cuz im sure they have bedbugs. Bathroom full of mold with insects. Elevator under construction so expect to do lots of stairs. Also walking through the stairs felt like dloor was going to fall apart. Towels are like 10-15 years old. Just a bad experience. Also in the reception area they have a sign that said,if u stain sheets or towels u will need to pay 27dlls. Before i left tries to call reception but no phone line. I dont even know how expedia could use them. Horrible

I had a great stay here.The room took me to a different time with how old (but unkept) some of the things are the bed was comfy smart tv. I tipped the person cleaning daily a small amount but a nice gesture to how clean everything was kept the whole time left money on my stand and wasn’t worried about it not being there when I got back.

Really old room. It was marked as premium bit it was not at all. No screen for mosquitoes in one window, they put a piece of cardboard on it. It rained one night and the ceiling leaked through several parts of the ceiling and they were paddles all over the floor. Not a good experience overall.

The hotel is well located yet they really need and upgrade the towels were very old, the shower curtains needed to be replace they smelled, the jr suit had no windows which they dont mention in the add, and i dont understand why the lights needed to be off it was pitch black which made it kind of scary

Here's a polished and more professional version of your review while keeping your voice and experience intact: --- The hotel is definitely older, but that’s part of its charm and character. We enjoyed our stay—staff were friendly and helpful throughout. Check-in was a bit slow, but we were eventually taken care of. One of the best parts is the location: just a short walk to the cathedral and many major tourist attractions, with two fantastic cafés on either side of the hotel Cafe Arte and Chai (best breakfast). It’s truly a convenient base for exploring the area. The hotel also offers helpful services like organizing tours to other areas Tequila, Tlaquepaque, Tonola etc, airport transfers, and other arrangements as needed. In the evenings, they host entertainment such as mariachi, tribute bands, and live music. We attended each event and had a great time relaxing with a few drinks. Cleanliness could use some improvement, but it was generally acceptable. We visited in July, and it was extremely hot with a noticeable mosquito presence—both indoors and out—so we recommend bringing bug spray. This isn’t really a hotel issue, just something to be aware of when visiting during the summer. Overall, a pleasant and memorable stay with a lot of local flavor.
